Hello, Im playing neverwinter everyday and since last patch I always have lags from 8PM to 11-12PM (UTC+1) I have good ping everywhere else but servers are lagging and it disconnect me. Im on teamspeak (hosted in NA) and its working, I ping google and I have 22~ ping. I tried using different internet provider (from my friend) and its still lagging. So what should I do?

Ping does absolutely nothing to help diagnose latency issues--other than you can reach a specific website and receive a response from it. Pinging the main PWE website is NOT the same as pinging the game servers--which are under a completely different domain and in a completely different location.

Please perform the tests outlined in this sticky and post your results. This will show a snapshot of how the route from your PC to the game server is performing. To just say "I performed the tests and they came out okay" is NOT helpful--we need to see the actual results produced.

It appears that once your route hits stateside (hop 9), your latency increases almost exponentially. I can't really pinpoint a specifc cause, though, the rest of your tests seem okay.

FYI: As a note to the above poster and other posters, refrain from using code tags to post your results, as it makes the results impossible to read without highlighting the entire post. A simple copy and paste will suffice (and information is given in the appropriate stickies on how to post your results).

Should it be provider problem? Because I dont lag all day only from 8PM to 11-12PM but rest of day is okay.

It's in the route between your provider and the server. Not really sure if it's due to some sort of throttling on the lines stateside or what, to be honest.

Hi , I have same issue.

Im from Europe, Romania , and yea.
Game can be laggy But decent to good laggs.
Around the hours u mention i get as well the *12-14 millions+ recive from server* meaning ,cant play.

Its like when USA + prime time. hours makes unplayable the game..for europeans and countries to gmt +2 utc...

When we play..is Night at them so is decent lagg.
But when is night at us , and day time at us , we cant play no more.

    Since Mod5.

From what Country are u ?

It's already been explained once. The problem is not under the control of your ISP nor is it Cryptic's. The issue is with the route in between. There's a list a mile long of what could possibly be wrong, and unfortunately, it's not an easy matter to say "oh, THIS is what the problem is!!".

From what I can gather, once your route reaches the US side of the route, your latency jumps. Keep in mind, though, that net neutrality and access laws/regulations differ between the US and European nations, and those segments of the route may be throttled at the whim of the company carrying the data along that segment.
