I have read that these are supposed to be a reward from quests in Shandalar ... I've yet to receive a single one and I've been doing daily quests there for a week! :(

My thought was this has to be a bug, I need 18 for my 3rd boon and I have none after a week? I'd like to see Icewind Dale sometime this year, guess i'm just going to have to Dragon/Thayan/PvP myself there but it would be nice to get that boon at some point ...

Can someone confirm these actually are a reward, or a drop somewhere?

    Once you unlock the final area (Realm of Malabog), they are awarded from daily quests there.

    You are facing an aggravating timewall, but nothing is bugged.

    Those blades are available by completing quests in the Realm of Malabog, which is the third area unlocked in Sharandar.
