Use 'unwanted' artifact weapons as refinement fodder or keep them?

My CW just got their Chilling Cloud artifact weapon but prior to that I got one each of the other two.

So, should I use the other 'unwanted' artifact weapons to refine the CC one or keep them?

    You lose a lot of the RP if you try to upgrade an artifact weapon with another one.
    A clanmate of mine got the wrong arty and upgraded figuring it would at least give him the RP he used in the new one.
    He had the first arty weapon at rank 35 or so and when he used it for RP in his new arty weapon he only got to rank 12 or so.
    So NO don't put RP in the wrong arty weapon.

    I heard that it gives extra RP until level 7 or so when used as fodder then again the gains might be so small it that I should just upgrade the one I will be using and keep the others.

    Any opinions?

    Class abilities and balance is in flux. My advice is to keep them in case future changes inspire you to change your power setup.

    I remember testing that you start to lose RP after level 3. So I would just keep it like the others have said, you never know when it'll be what you want to use again.

    Thanks for the feedback - especially from the person who tested it.

    I will keep the other artifact weapons just in case the unthinkably horrible scenario happens that spell powers or the artifact weapon themselves are changed so much that a different one is a better choice. I am hoping to eventually get the weapon to Epic so changing won't be THAT huge a loss, although still very annoying for someone like me who isn't rolling in AD.
