Perhaps in a year or two we'll have enough campaigns that you'll just pick the ones you want to do.

They would need to give the same boons for different campaigns then. Otherwise you still HAVE to do it, if you want to maximize your character.

It is not going to happen anyway, so why worry? It would be a revenue-losing change for PWE/Cryptic. No business would make a decision that adversely impacts the bottom line, unless there is a severe reason for doing so for long-term viability of the entire business. It's that simple.
SEC! SEC! SEC! SEC! SEC! SEC! SEC! SEC! SEC! SEC! SEC! SEC! SEC! (repeat indefinitely)

Actually I joined game just as mod 2 came out. So I was doing DR and shar on several characters daily as well as gearing them. When IWD came out - I finished it on one character then started on the others. ToD - Again done with one character first and now im working on it with other characters - the difference is I do not see what the rush is. The campaigns and your characters are not going anywhere so why spend 6 hours doing dailys on 6 characters? Do them on however many character that isnt boring for you. Also, I actually enjoy doing dailys xD

And I do not support it because though I see WHY you asking for it I do not agree - the only campaign that is in any way onerous to complete is ToD. But as usual people (not sayig you necessarily) want it now without any effort xD

Well I was not talking about unlocking everything in campaign on every alt through doing it on one toon, I'm simply asking to unlock essential progress on alts when it's unlocked on one toon so I can hop in on my alt if necessary (There were times when guilides needed DC/tank for Kessel and I couldn't help because I did not spend 20 days on my tank doing boring dailies). I don't care for boons or anything, I just would like to not be forced to do dailies on every toon just to unlock essential part of campaign (dungeon/skirm).
Now I can't take my tank/DC for new dungeons&skirm because game tells me to do boring dailies 19 times before I can unlock them, Mod1&2 at least allowed me to unlock dungeons on day 1 so I did not need to repeat dailies to the point that game prooved itself as piece of HAMSTER in my eyes.
But enough of that, I have question for all of you who object this idea:
What's so fun about doing exact same dailies for 20 days to be able to unlock essential part of campaign (dungeon/skirmish)?

Viability will become an issue. If campaigns remain this long and grindy, it will be too expensive and time-consuming to "catch up". Given that games like this make their money from churn, that is a recipe for trouble.

Honestly, a month is not time consuming for a MMO, which is how long roughly most campaigns can be finished in, with the exception of ToD, which I agree is a pita - thank god I got a boon book in eLoL is all I can say :p

It is only a month, if you can spend hours per day on this game.
I got quite a lot of time at weekends but only below a hour weekdays. I can "stack" some quests, but usually i do not manage it, to finish them all with all characters at one weekend, since it is boredom overload to do trice the dailys on one day. On more than one character.

Of course a month is not much time for an MMO. But this doesnt mean, you should have to do the same stuff for months over and over again or drag stuff out as long as possible. It just gets frustrating this way.
