Artifact Belts

Can someone lay out specifics on how much refining points things are worth? I have not gotten a belt and I have seen threads talking about needing millions of RP to refine up, however no one has actually mentioned how many RP green items are worth and how many are needed to rank up 10 times or get to blue quality or the like.

So I would like to know:

How many RP is a green item worth?
How many RP is a blue item worth?

Do you get more RP from belts for an Artifact Belt or is it the same RP no matter what item category you put into it?

    about 3.1 or 3.8m.

    Quality Base RP
    Uncommon 100
    Rare 300
    Epic 450
    Epic Tier 1 575
    Epic Tier 2 650

If belt for belt, weap. for weap., it's *2.

Wow and how many RP does it take to initially rank up from R1 - R2? is it a small amount like other artifacts? Right now its looking like they are hammering their players to spend more time clicking the screen ala facebook/zenga games instead of actually playing.

took me 10 hours and 40 min to make it to legendary by buying rare gears from ah and puting them into belt.

Out of curiosity, how much did that cost you?

If you'd farm it would cost around 2m (with blue/greens same with g. identity scrolls at 125 AD).

I think this is not that long if you have the AD, because the amount of greens loot by mobs are so ... high.

I have to admit, I am very pleased by how fast some greens go for on the AH. One can build up quite a sizable amount just selling a days worth of drops.

The blue version is from lockboxes , the green version is from the Rothe valley and Whispering caverns dragon HE's and both versions of the new dungeon and skirmish when we unlock them.

    RP 35 > 60 = 4.000.000,
you need 6.666 belts = 600 RP each
belts cost arround 1.500 ad each

    will spend arround 9-10m

Or you could use other blues for 7.5 times cheaper and only half the rp. Not that it'll be fun to do.

They are very rare drops from the HEs, and also the new skirmish/dungeon. Look at "Campaign Rewards" - it lists in detail where each item drops. For example, the new armor set - the gauntlets drop from the HE in Rothé Valley, the boots from the one in the Whispering Caverns, and the helmet/armor/mainhand/offhand from the dungeon and the skirmish.

The artifacts can drop from HEs, but also in the dungeon/skirmish ... what I am not 100% clear on is what can drop from each chest there -there are two chests - one regular, and the special one which needs a key you can either craft or buy - presumably that chest has a reasonable chance for a good drop, but I just don't know the details.

    Also, note this upcoming change:
The Rod of Imperial Restraint artifact has a decreased drop rate for participation less than Great Success in the Venfithar (Rothe Valley) and Vilithrax (Whispering Caverns) Heroic Encounters. Great Success in the Heroic Encounters remains the same.
    Hoping for improvements...

Or you can buy identity scrolls at AH (around 3k for a stack of 100 at some moments) and hard farm during 1 week.

Thanks for the info! SO far I've gotten great success in the dragons I've been fighting, but only in Neverdeath and Ebon Downs.

Simply lowering the player per instance limit would do the trick. The Neverdeath Graveyard HE works smoothly, as that has a 15 player per instance limit, but the Whispering Caverns one has a 30-player limit, I think. That's simply too much.

That could also work, I can only release 1 rotation and the dragon dies like less than 15secs, giving me some troll loot, assuming you won't lag at all with 20+ people using all their encounters on the enlarged lizard.

Everyone is talking bout gear to refine these items. Can you not use refininf stones on this? I recall using them, giving a much faster way of levelling it up.

To my knowledge u cant use normal stones(peridots, diamonds etc.) However they have added some new renossance(spelling...) stones, that drops from lockboxes and from the dragon's hoard enchantment.

You can use peridots, flawless saphires, black opals etc...as well as the new resonance stones, however you cannot use enchantments in the artifact weapon or belt. Can also use other gear.

You sure? then it make no sense what so ever to actually buy blue/green belt... With the new dragon's hoard enchantment, the bots are back in numbers and yeah peridots/opals are becoming cheaper and cheaper on the ah atm... currently the Price of refining points to ad is 1-2 for peridots and 1-3 for opals, and oh yeah 1-8 for brilliant diamonds for the really lazy people out there:)

Yes I hava both an artifact green belt (yesterday) and my artifact weapon at 6 am (local) done. THe only thing you cannot use are enchantments for the artifact gear. Both are about to be made epic and I have used all of the above in both.

I have been running with Dragon's Horde enchantments and 1 Fey blessing enchant ( for my regular artifacts) for a while now.

Yeah, I gave up on getting a belt, scraped together 1.9M AD and just bought one on the AH - wanted to be sure I had one in time for the 2xRP weekend.

You can only get a proc from each set of enchants no more then 30 seconds. They each have an internal cooldown.
