Problems with an open queue instance - suggestions/guidance needed

I do not have a "return to instance" button on the top of my screen, but I am receiving the message cannot queue while your queue instance is still active when I try to queue for anything; skirmish, pvp, and dungeon alike. I can walk into phantasmal fortress, but I cannot walk into any dungeon that is part of the queue system. It appears I'm stuck in an instance of GG PVP as I no longer see the queues for it when it's active. (And the last run I did of GG PVP was more than 4 hours ago at this point). This is character specific and not account wide as my other character can still queue.

Thanks to the kindness of other players and forum searches I have tried the following:

1) Jumping various zones back and forth
2) Logging out and back in
3) Character switching, and queuing on other character
4) Trying a different computer
5) Various reboots of computer and forced verify of NW
6) Stripping character of gear and attempting to queue for a dungeon that doesn't meet requirements
7) Various attempts at forming a party and leaving, as well as variations on being kicked from a party
8) Letting my character idle out in a corner
9) Jumping into GG to wait out Phase 2
10) Committing suicide through game help as well as running into Icewind Pass and letting the mobs just kill me.

I have submitted a request for GM help, but I'd also love to know if anyone has any ideas of something else I can try in the meantime?
