Please allow us to buy multiple "First Time Buyers" packs

The title says it all. I have 14 character and I only have one "companion" from the pack which makes me a sad panda! I'd be more then happy to keep buying ZEN if every 500 / 1000 ZEN purchased allowed us to get more of these "Account bound" rewards!

Pretty please!

Thanks
Calvin

Were that so, they wouldn't be called "First Time" buyers' packs, now would they. At the risk of stating the obvious, of course.

Well the naming wasn't really accurate on this promotion to begin with honestly as I've been buying ZEN for 12 months and the last 2500 I spent went towards getting this reward which is honestly just a promotion to get you to purchase ZEN (and has nothing to do with first time buying anything other then buying 500 ZEN or more with in the stated time limit by anyone regardless of past or present purchases). As such I'm just proposing they capitalize on the already "general" buy ZEN get rewarded promotion by giving us additional account bound rewards :)

    Cheers

At the very least, they could offer some variation of the companion in the Zen store... it could be a different breed of dog or something, to keep the promo one exclusive. How about a war kitty?

IMHO adding it to the companion collection is quite ridiculous as once the pack is open it's bound to character not account. So, it's a unique companion that can be obtained once per account for a single character and cannot be unlocked in the collection on other toons (can't see it in the zen store). On the other hand the whole collection has become quite ludicrous as unless one spends tons of ADs/ZEN and real money one can never unlock it fully.

It was a nice idea but has been destroyed with inclusion of mounts, events (that are not retroactive) and real-money-packs.

However, it's a cool companion enough:) should do well with my HR.

The combined value of all the items in the pack is just too much for them to do that , letting people have one is a nice way to get players to spend AD and introduce them to the zen market , letting players have as many as they want would cause takings to suffer , nobody would buy 12 slot bags , appearance change kits , respec tokens , greater health stones or character slots individually any more because they could get them all in one go for 500 zen.

I do think they should add the Dog companion to the zen store as an individual item for players who want to complete their collection or remove it from the collection page.

I'll be sure to bring that up. Promotional items are not supposed to be in the collections for just that reason. This is likely an oversight.

However, the pack is just that, a promotion. It offers a nice cache of stuff for much less than they would normally offer because it is the first time you bought zen after the promotion started. I wouldn't hold my breath that this request is even up for discussion.

Personally I'm very much pleased with the promo itself and with the pack. It's great value! But, being a completionist, I don't quite follow why one-off items are included in collections. I think that collections should be logically achievable by way of farming and during normal game play and not by spending real money. It's infuriating enough that one section of my collections will always be incomplete (new 'mounts tab')..at least the events are re-farmable (i guess with an exception of Val's invasion). Apologies to post a bit off topic:)

They are not. As I said this is likely an oversight.

For instance: Mystic Phoera and the Fey Panther are not in the collections. Mystic Pheora because it is a limited item and the Fey Panther because only one character on an account can own it. If you know of any one off's which were included in collections PM me and I will get it on a dev's desk to look into (and likely remove).

Ironically speaking, does't this setup make the War Dog to be among the rarest of companions? Sure, everyone (who buys any Zen for NW) gets one, but they get one and only one forever and ever.

So thinking on this I had to put my pack into the bank and brew on it a while! LOL

The fey panther is quite rare also as you can only apply one of Steam's Starter Kits to a single account, unlike the Feywild Starter Kit with the portal hound. In order to get more, you'd need to have multiple legitimate Steam Accounts (Steam doesn't allow this, you'd risk looking your real Steam account by making throw-aways) and PWE Accounts. The fey panthers are bind on equip though.

Just be glad you can get yours. I am still waiting to be able to get mine. And I can see the reasoning behind only allowing one character to claim it - or there would be no point listing healthstones etc on either zen store or ah as you could just make a new char everytime you wanted one, as they are account bound.

what i'm getting from this is that the REAL complaint is not being able to have the War dog on multiple toons (FYI, I have the same complaint)

the simplest solution would be to make the War Dog (and ONLY the war dog) available from the Promo Vendor if you got the FTBP

Can't wait for the Second Time Buyers Pack then and the third and etc. New Module= New players= New Promotion.

Because Steam doesn't allow multiple accounts you may only claim the Steam Pack once per account.

Basically, you could ask friends on Steam who don't actually play Neverwinter (or don't care about collecting companions) to buy the pack on Steam, create a Neverwinter account to enter the code (since it's free to play and all), and give you the BoE panther pet.

You could also buy the pet from people who've bought the pack specifically to charge people astronomical amounts of AD for that panther, but... I think my idea is better.
