For me it's a simple bugged/not coded mechanic. The Ionstone can reflect the light like the rogue to stay invisible and the cat can hide a few more meters away especially going in bushes to avoid enemies. Situations like 'Oh! There is a ion flying without a guy!' are dumb. This needs fast implemented, because of such a suck, nerfing a class mechanic in such a way is a nerf of equipment choice too!
So people argument who want to iouns/cats to be visible is that theres no logic in pets becoming invisible? To me it sounds silly, and we all know the real reason is they just simply want to have advantage over trs. Game is full of non-logic <censored> but it is sometimes required to keep the balance, and to me not braking entire class mechanic is more logical that some <font color="orange">HAMSTER</font> about companions powers...
This is obviously a bug and hopefully will be fixed before mod 3 goes live. Augment pets don't hinder any other classes' tab abilities, and obviously shouldn't hinder a tr as well. Those who argue against it, like the previous poster mentioned, just want easy mode vs tr. Sorry to disappoint you all, but I have a little more faith in Cryptic in this particular situation knowing they will fix it at some point. Otherwise..well...there's no point in playing a tr is there?

Like i said before. Non combat pets should share stealth, any rogue is going to use a stone if they have it, it is just too good. Other pets should not.
Comments
This thread is about NON-COMBAT pets still being visible when a TR enters stealth, giving away their position in PvP.
Thanks!
