Rubberbanding and extreme lag

Everything was still working fine last night but today, for some reason, the login takes an extremely long time and if I do get in, my character just rubberbands on the spot.

I'm guessing the signals (movements) I sent are not getting picked up on the server.

Everything else is on a delay.

The only button that doesn't seem to be on a delay is the "Exit" button.

I can still see other people and they seem to be "teleporting" so I'm guessing they are not experiencing the same issue as me.

Anyone else is getting this?

What you're seeing are connection issues. Whether they're local or related to the outage from a few days ago, it's unclear.

Signals for momvement are sent in and your computer does them and shows you doing them first. then everything reacts, so 1 second latency (which is pretty bad) will show you using a skill on a target and the target getting hit by it a second later. You seeing other people teleporting is also a connection issue, as what you're seeing is the server saying "They are here" to your computer and "They are moving, so have this animation". When they teleport, it's because the server has regained connection with your computer and says "Oh, woops, they're not there anymore, now they're over here." so even a pair of people watching each other lag will experience it as if the other wasn't lagging, just responding slowly. The exit button works perfectly because it's a localized "Close the game client" button, rather than a server thing saying you're logging out.

On the whole, I'd recommend you get your router looked at, and experiment with other games. if other games work fine online, then it's a problem with the server. if your internet is doing the same thing for various MMOs, then its your own connectivity that needs to be fixed.

I think there's something more going on here. The reason I say that is I can move and interact in PE or Dread Ring without issue, but I lag badly and randomly while in a CTA instance...

Run a trace route to see if there is an issue along the route to the server. To do this follow the directions in this topic.

I'm lagging like hell too... I used to play with 180-220 ping with no problem at all, but now still with 180-220 ping my game feels like 1000+ ping and is dealying like hell, freezes, damage numbers taking 1-3 seconds to show up...

I just checked my router, internet speeds, and several other(non-arc) games. They are all running fine, showing 90-130ms. these are typical ping times and connection speeds for the respective games. I even went so far as to call my ISP to check their end and everything checked out green across the board. After all of that I know it's not my connection to NW.
