Request: Fix ridiculous, anti-roleplay "treasure" values

I'm pretty sure this will never get touched, even though it is undoubtedly in a simple to change table somewhere that could be adjusted in minutes by anyone who could type.

I mean seriously - A "Faceted Blue Diamond" is 10x LESS valuable than a "Flawed Sapphire" ?!?
...a "Common Flower" is worth 5X MORE than a "Giant Golden Pearl" ?!?

It is extremely annoying (at low levels) having to tool-tip every single "treasure" to have a clue what to drop.
It is also completely ridiculous trying to use any for any sort of role-playing purpose (yeah, I know, nobody gives a darn about roleplay in a mmoRPG game. Sad.).

I also wish they would change the values of these 'treasures' to make it realistic and more worth. It shouldnt be that difficult :)
    Suggestions to improve NW:
    - Dualspec
    - Better rewarding foundry and foundry pvp maps
    - Custom PvP leagues with leaderboards instead of the current 'matchmaking'.
    - Armory
    - make jumping cost stamina (to reduce hopping in pvp)

+1 ... it is really confusing for new players, and as OP wrote, it shouldn't be so hard to change.

I also "love" some of those icons.

Bent Fork and Dead Fish are D20's and the Giant Golden Pearl is square just to name a couple.

Sometimes the small things do mean a lot and should be given a bit more attention.

Color-coding by rarity, similar to the refining items, could be helpful to categorize items at a glance. The lowest-tier items would be dusty-grey junk. Next up in value would be green plant-based items. Third tier would be blue-silver items, and the final tier would be purple-gold items. Maybe red-orange items if you need a fifth tier above that.

It would be nice if also we could use those to refine...

If only there were a use for them like for Gingershroom, Glowberries and the Starflower or the colored crystals!

I would be more pissed off about the low value of ALL these items. I mostly just giggle and think ".... devs" when I pick up a "tarnished mug" with a lvl 60 char that has gear for many many millions of AD. If gold was used for anything in this game I might react differently, but since gold is near useless, meh. I use gold for one thing, move my enchants around. :) Lets go pick up a few million mugs to move this azure! trollolol

It'd be nice if we could use any item to refine, including unidentified ones. Doesn't have to give more points than the item level (with a small multiplier for rarity) or in the case of treasure, their sell value.

I keep trying to get that auctioneer's attention and buy that "fine longsword for 30gp" but they never acknowledge my bid! :p

...and the "Head of Vecna" is almost as old a D&D meme as the Wild Gazebo. I would hope that some rearrangement of these counter-intuitive treasure values might be considered. Better communication between the numbers people who assign values and probabilities of drops, and the artists who design the icons, might help.
