Hi iam new to this thread and i like to ask a question.
The nature blessing feat affects the healing from life steal, regen also or only from potions and from dc healing.

    Also my char has 4.8k power - 3.8k crit - 2.5k ArPen.
How will i do more average damage not depending on crit chances? By more ArPen or power?

nature blessing feat affects all healing, LS, regen, DC healing, emblem, PvP set bonus, not sure about potions though, I don't use potions much so never really paid attention to them

3.8k crit is very high already, so increasing that won't do much
2.5k ArPen is way more than what you need in PvE, but for PvP, you can still get around 3k Arpen and still see a better gain than power

I generally slot all Crit+ArPen on myself, and Crit+Power on my stone. You will find that you'll never have more ArPen than total Defense of anyone in PvP as they have 10% base value in tenacity, if you do find those ungeared pugs, then it doesn't matter what you slot, you'll kill them in 2 seconds regardless.

Have the gear and skills, but lack the friends to play with? Come and apply for Essence of Aggression. We have been here and strong since beta. (Immature, rude, and arrogant people will not be accepted)

Have you tried bilethorn for more single target or lightning enchant? The numbers look promising on those considering the low damage of this spec. (Bilethorn has been decent for tene procs as well.)

As far as next mod goes though, it looks like this build is really going to shine with the stats and effects of black ice gear, but primarily just from Oak Skin +150% healing. What do you think about a max CON/INT nature spec with ~2k recovery and 100% uptime with Oak Skin? I think that alone would make nature viable for PvP.

    I'm looking at

    ~1820 Regen
    ~1955 Defense
    ~1950 Recovery
    ~2000 Deflect
    ~33k+ HP
    ~2250 Arm Pen

    (Tenacity on belt/neck/profound)

with Oak Skin able to activate as soon as it gets off CD. This would be with profound gear for deflect -> hp. (I haven't looked at numbers for black ice yet).

From messing on preview server, I don't remember the exact numbers, but it looked like Oak Skin was healing about 450 on average in PvE with ~18% mitigation buff. For PvP that would still be +225 HP per second with the mitigation (and the ability to share that with nearby party members.) (Testing was done on an ungeared alt though, so I am not sure if there are ways that will be increased or not on a geared account.)

If it wont work, it still looks like an ideal setup for running the same gear only with combat spec to best utilize 4 piece set bonus for PvP gear.

    Thoughts?

EDIT: I guess after testing today I was only getting 350 ticks from oak skin, so I guess its not as viable as I thought. I will just run with combat build instead.

You would be better off with Str/Dex for a tanky build. Str gives "resistance" which is more important then the "small" amount of flat HP Con gives, as well as having other bonuses to it.

Resistance ignored is not a defensive attribute. It is a value that works similar to armor penetration. It relates to your attacks ignoring your opponents resistance, rather than the other way around. There have been discussions and testing related to this common confusion before. The reason tank builds specialize in CON is because of the synergy it provides with regen though, which works especially well considering HR gets +20% healing more from regen than other classes. Regen is still very viable for tanking despite healing depression due to tenacity damage suppression making each regen tick more significant at lower values despite regen now being for less HP.
