55 Minutes in the life of a PvP'r --- 1080p

Hey guys many of you know me or have maybe seen some of my videos with my TR Alysin Chains or HR Murder(EoA).
I didnt know I was recording lastnight and wound up with a 55 minute video.
The bass is kinda loud in the video sorry, like I said didnt plan on recording or I would have turned it down.
Anyways, its all obviously uncut just raw footage. You see some good sportsmanship, some bad, lots of 1 vs 1's, 1 vs 2's 1 vs 3's 1 vs 5's, fights against premades, pugs etc.
Its all solo Q'ing, so if you only like to see videos of premades than dont watch this.
Is this a crazy awesome showcase of me being super awesome? No.
Just playing, jamming out to tunes not realizing I was being watched =P
I thought it interesting when I scrolled through it, wondering if I would catch myself acting differently not knowing I was recording myself.
I had alot of fun playing, and had some pretty frustrating times as well and you see it all.
If you are curious what PvP is about, the good and the bad, this is a great video.
Community reactions, players, attitudes, my own personal gear selection and load-outs depending on the situation(which I change frequently).
I listen to really heavy music, so if your not a metal fan, this video will make your ears bleed and want to turn it off

I liked how you kind of guided your team in that match. Doesn't take much for a group of pugs to work well together as long as they stick around.
Cool concept for a video. Just gonna enjoy the awesome music now :cool:

Before 6 minutes 11 seconds in to your video you announce to your opponents that you are recording your gameplay......?.....
I don't spend real time to gear up my toon so I can try to carry my team when they are clueless against some obvious better geared/skilled player. I don't mind fair fight anyday winning or losing it is fun but getting 1 v 3 entire game cause your team are just bad? I will pass.
This makes me want to try out PvP again, no clue if it's a good idea though, since i only own a standard mount.
Anyways, this is a nice HR PvP montage.
#edit: Nvm, i found some dumbstep in it, luckily it is almost at the end.
And I really liked that you're not another Split Shot/Maradeur's Escape spammer.
I saw this as well before 4 minutes in. Sounds to me like someone E-Peen was hard and in need of stroking, so they attempted to lay it on the forums.
If you want to start your own Advertise campaign for your channel, by all means do it. But make sure its flawless and you are not caught in a lie before 4 minutes.
2) I noticed that the match was over when 2 players left from Alysin Chain's team, and he asked for 1v1 but 3-4 players kept chasing after him. They have no manners. If the match was still going on I would't bother with "1v1 me bro" ofc.
3) Bebop - "I'll try ya". Missed most of his RS, IBS and Roar. Slammed for nothing. RS and Roar... against you is just lols.
Why not FS and Takedown. While you were trying to AS he couldve used TD/FSed to chain combo you. If the guy can afford a lifedrinker enchant why not get a soulforge too.
4) Kinda sad when theres a 1v1 match going on then someone comes in and ruins it. Would had been nice if Chudo told the other guy to back off.
5) Make a twitch account so I can watch your past recordings.

Glad you like my playstyle. Archery is a ton of fun. I love split shot, but its just weaved in to the rest of an archers encounters..not the sole source of outgoing..
My album was finished and I clicked on a random heavy band I hadnt heard. Also not impressed.
The band I was listening too is "The Browning". loooove these guys. But. They are on the verge of dubsteppy too on some songs.

At 3MINS 37 in---you say: recording if you'd like some 1 vs 1
At 6min 18s---you repeat: am recording.
Pretty sure you knew for the entire clip.

I live in North Dakota and work in the Oil Field so my play time is all over the place honestly. Could be early in the morning 6am/pst or in the evening.
Feel free to add me anytime though and shoot me a tell. I wont group with more than 1 person at a time unless its a pre vs pre because of all the leavers.

Yah its pretty cheap I agree and I will be happy when they fix it. If they fix it =/
I do my best to try and not use it on them while they are in unstoppable because I want a challenge, but you know how it goes, your encounters and rotations come as second nature so muscle memory takes over quite often.
Nah don't get me wrong... I think HRs pretty much need some form of unique CC. This ITC/unstoppable killer might be just a tiny bit too much... but in a way it's a form of payback against 2 of the most powerful PvP abilities.
So I'm not among the guys that will criticize the roots. These engines of destruction need to be countered effectively somehow, and HRs are doing a great job. Basically it is what it is until they gonna get fixed, but whatever they do, they need to be very careful not too damage HR viability in either PvP or PvE.
For my CW I'm more worried about that periodic constricting shot thing, it makes it impossible for me to use shard, not cool :P Basically if there are 2 HRs in the other team or CW+HR, I need to switch to the "cheese" setup with Icy Rays on Tab, which I kinda hate since it destroys most squishy targets in one encounter rotation and it's not very useful against anybody else.
I can tell you, that if they fix the grasping roots, which I hope they do. It will not affect me not even one single bit in PvP. You just wait out unstoppable, stick and move till it fades, then bring go back to rooting.
As far as contesting a point, a good GWF will be able to get close to you anyway using TR,IF you are trying to stay on a point for contention.
I can honestly say though I am not holding my breath for any changes. Roar still interrupts TR's in ITC, still interrupts the animation of DF, and has been that way for months.
Your conclusion is wrong. There is no hate. The poster wrote an introduction to his video that contained inaccuracies. Pointing this out to him was not promulgating hate. Rather, it was a light-hearted attempt to provide him with an opportunity to correct the record. That he chose to double down and introduce even more inaccuracies was unfortunate, and speaks to his choice of the manner he responded to the observed inaccuracies. Unfortunately, this second dispensing of questionable information required a further response. This was provided.
That you have chosen to ignore the crux of the discussion (the need for honesty in the written word) and have condensed it to mere platitudinous nonsense (re your"...I don't get all the hate..." comment) is of no concern to me. However, other readers may be interested in the why and the what of the apparent controversy in this post; hence this rather long-winded response to your unacceptable conclusion.
The video is a video, and its worth can be assessed by who so ever wishes to . That is fine. The introduction to it contains information that is provenly false . That is not fine. There is no hate; just a preference for truth.
@Mun: Besides the sound enjoyed the Vid, keep it up. (But perhaps work on the audio, lol)
Funny thing is after watching the video again, I say it again in around the 20minute mark that I am recording
Even funnier, I still don't remember purposely recording the video, sooooooo. For me atleast, its still the same, I don't remember recording and found the video the next day whilst looking through my folder
We can blame that on my terrible memory and my favorite green herbs =P
On a side note. Do you actually talk like that in real life? I cant imagine ever having a conversation with someone who speaks the way you do, like you try REALLY hard at using big words that are completely(in a normal person's conversation)unnecessary
Kinda reminds me of my high school shop teacher. He explained the uses of a battery post cleaner for an entire hour.....when it could have been summed up into one sentence
