Unbinding Companions

So why can't we unbind companions again? why can't they just make them bind on account, and to use them they have to drop down to lvl one and start over, it would limit people moving them around, your not going to move a companion unless you REALLY want to, because leveling them up again would be a pain, but on the other hand when you start a new character you can switch them over to your new character......it's extremely annoying to put something in a game, have it there as an option for almost a year, and never having it work, then decide they don't want to, why? is it so that they make more money on people purchasing new companions? that's really saying how much you care about your customers, is it a tech issue? is it a greed issue? what is it?? maybe I missed it somewhere but the last post I saw about this was in aug, so im thinking they are probably blocking any discussion relating to unbinding companions, if they have addressed this can someone provide me with a link? and if not can someone from cryptic reply? and not with a "unbinding companions at this time is not feasible" statement, if you want more money just come out and say it, at least then we know where we stand??

Eh, no...leveling them is pretty trivial.....just make sure you always have them active when you collect quest xp....and they'll reach their max level in a very short time.

Almost certainly, yes. The silly thing is that they would probably make more from companion sales if they were actually made useful at end game.

Basically right now, you may need one companion (which one depends on your class) while leveling, and then for doing the epic dungeons you want the stone or the cat. There is really no reason to get any more...except to show them off in PE.
    Hoping for improvements...
