The "plays" number sometimes counts backwards

One of my quests (I played on an alt acct) went from 1084 plays to 1083 when i completed it. (Haunted House) Another went from 351 plays to 349 when I completed it. (Christmas in August) I also think these numbers are lower than they used to be. A few quests are counting correctly though.

edit: Another quest (Easy Quest) went from 6,752 to 6,739 when I completed it.
edit: Another Quest (Easy Quest 2) went from 7,768 to 7,760 when I completed it.

    I have got over 100 plays after the patch and just recently it went back to the number I had before the patch.
