A question about gear and loot.

So I been playing a little and I have a question, is there a lot of loot in this game, or is it just every five levels theirs a set of gear you have to buy. or are there a lot of different types of loot for the same class. as in. Boots with plus five hp or somthing like that. and also does all the loot look the same or are there a lot of different looking gear.

. . . . . There's a lot of loot. I haven't bought anything from the vendors since early on (start loot for silvers). All my gear comes from either loot drops, the auction house, or crafting. There are various gears available with the types of currency from things like Bounty collection items (Seals). Look around the Seven Suns Cloister Market and the various Seal Vendors in the beginning areas of each Zone.

. . . . . There is some diversity between armors as you gain higher level gear but not a whole lot per class. However, Fury of the Feywild will be bringing even more diversity in gear appearance. Each gear piece has three color slots to dye different colors, to help in this diversity also. Additionally, you can transmute items to look like another item of the same type. Stat wise, there is an oder to the stats. They are not random but follow types and effects and can be enhanced if they have sockets.
