Why is NWN taking so long to load after latest patch?

Not sure whether this a problem others are experiencing or not but since the patch after successful login and character selection the game environment loads you get the little gold progress streak at the bottom of the screen showing progress. Since the patch on two separate PCs that I play on with two separate broadband ISPs there is a pause of about 3 mins before a message comes up that says "Press Any Key" after which the region (e.g. Protectors Enclave) finally loads. It didn't use to be this slow for me, anybody experiencing a similar problem? Both the PCs I play on are pretty well specced so I am reasonably sure the delay is not due to lack of processing power,

    I'm having the same issue. Protector's Enclave never loads for me coming out of PvP matches.

    After latest patch I've been having problems with disconnects, and for the first time I've had the game outright crash on me following a PvP match.

    Not sure if it's just coincidence, but just saying you're not the only one noticing sudden strange behavior.

    (Never seen the game require you to press a key after loading...that's very odd btw)
