As I mentioned last week, I unpublished my quest to revamp it! I had a lot of great feedback, most of it overwhelmingly positive! So, with that in mind, I decided to keep the good, maybe tweak it a little, and add a lot more it. I postponed working on my second quest so that I could get this one up to a higher standard.
Of the biggest issues that have been pointed out, here are some changes you can look forward to:
- More Dialogue
- More story
- Worlds that feel more alive!
- Better dungeon layout.
- Higher attention to detail.
- Now, with less typos!
The biggest issue, however, that most people ran into, was the sewers. In fact, I could probably spend the next few paragraphs just showing what people had said about the sewers.
I heard you, and I agree. I tried to throw a line in there to say why the sewers were so clean. But, truth of the matter is, the sewers looked like they did because I simply didn't know how to make them better.
After seeing Apoc's amazing screenshots for his Ravenloft quest, I decided I wanted to put forth a better product. Now, these sewers aren't 100% custom built, however, they are a lot mroe fleshed out, and they are more than just rooms attached to each other. I wanted to bring a feel of what sewers should feel like. Dark, cold, misty, almost spooky, with some areas seeming cavernous.
So, without further ado, here is the first teaser for V.2.0.0 of The Dark Creed: Dirty Politics!
I'm proud of this room....this is the Kobold Nursery...I'm proud of it because there are no nests or eggs in the Foundry...so this was painstakingly created....egg by egg, nest by nest....400 eggs in total!
So, that's it for now! I still have Blacklake to spruce up, plus the tunnels are going to be getting some love as well....thanks again for the feedback everyone, it means a lot!
Oh, I know someone will mention it...I am getting through my reviews....got a few done this week and am writing the full review for the forums...your quests in game have been reviewed (those that I could finish)!
My quest was deleted in July of 2013. There were no issues, it had not violated any rules. Was deemed a bug. That quest is still missing.
RIP - Dirty Politics May 21st, 2013 - July 30th, 2013
