I'm pretty new to Neverwinter and whilst i have my head around it mostly, i do have a few questions and concerns i'd like some clarification on.
I'm playing a Drow Trickster Rogue and i am REALLY liking how it plays with one notable exception...in almost all of the skirmishes and dungeons i have done, i notice that there's a metric ton of knock back (from players and to a lesser extent NPC's) as well as bosses with long channeled 360 degree aoe. It makes it very hard to actually do what i am there to do - ie get in close and stab stuff.
Is this only going to get worse as i level? I am wondering if i aren't wasting my time on a melee class because of how the game will end up once i hit 60? Like i said, i like how the TR plays a whole lot, i just feel like i am starting to have to spend more time dodging than stabbing.
Thanks in advance.

Rogues are 'squishy'.
Yes, dodge, move, stick and run. When you see that red for the mob attack, get out of the way.

Rogues are one of the better melee classes with avoiding said damage or getting to the mob's back instead. Feel free to check out my custom channel guide if you have more questions in-game.
Rogue actually has it best out of all the melee classes. they have the better mobility and damage. You just have to be aware of your surroundings, and some of your skills can help position you as well.
