Another way is to drag objectives so they're next to each other instead of sequential. This way you can have some pretty varied things the player needs to do, and which he can do in any order. You can even create multiple "threads" of quest objectives that can be handled in any order. Say, you could have two quest objectives visible at once saying "Talk to bandit leader 1" and "Talk to bandit leader 2". When you talk to one of them, that particular objective changes to "Kill bandit leader 1" or "Kill bandit leader 2" as appropriate, while the other goal remains the same. You can do some pretty nifty things with this.
