This is one thing I see alot of people complain about and rightfully so. Before I played Neverwinter I played the DCUO mmo and in this game if gear cannot be equipped by your class you can only greed. This lets classes that actually need the gear are the only ones who can need it. Im not a game programmer or coder so I dont know how hard this would be to implement but I think it would fix alot of issues. Let me know if you agree or have something else in mind.

since the game is new there are a lot of players who unfortunately lack the common courtesy often found in other games with older playerbases. need on stuff you actually plan to use (on the character youre doing the run on. "i want it for my alt" is bs if youre ripping off another guy whos the right class for the item and might as well have not even joined the run and wasted his time just to be ninja'd), otherwise greed, and pass on junk you cba to npc. im not sure why this always seems to happen at the release of any new game, but you can expect the frantic greediness to die down when the game is older and not everything is quite as "shiny"

    I have a similar question...
I know how Skirmishes work by now, and how gold and items are aworder.

What about if you're not in a party, and just happen to attack the same monster as someone else, and it dropps gold/items?
Does each character involved get it's own drop, or is there only 1 drop and who ever picks it up first get's it?

I don't want to go around ninja other people's monsters and steal their loot.
Also how is with XP? If i deal let's say 30% damage to a monster, do i get 30% of what he would give on a kill?
Or does only the character that dealt 70% get full XP?

Companions sometimes use class specific gear, so there is a slight rationale there. But party leader should be able to set loot options anyway to allow need only on personal class.

Though admittedly currently you can just use dungeon dwelve to get most of your items anyway, at least at lower levels. (heck, I often get multiple copies of blue items from chests)
