The main scenario wherein I will not apologize for scattering mobs is if there's another CW who throws a singularity on a big wave. Then I can, and will, run in and drop an Oppressive Force at ground zero. I know it's got a bit of pushback, but it doesn't look that far (at least from where I stand) and the lengthy double-daze, wherein mobs can't attack at all just strikes me as too good to pass up.

Other than that though, it's rare for me to bust out Oppressive, which is sad, because I <3 daze.

As to Repel? I love it. But I don't always load it. Repel/Ray is a solid combination for locking out a single mob. If I'm bringing Repel, it's probably the last spell I use. Entangle something. Turn, Chill Strike something that looks weak. Turn, Repel/Ray someone that looks like they aren't being engaged. Rinse, wash, repeat.

I only use repel when / if mobs reach me or spawn near me. It is my oh HAMSTER button. I dont spam it and if i can i push them towards the boss / primary mob.

Issue is as you add points into the skill the damage goes up but so does the range of the push. I am sorry if i cause tanks any grief but i love to live :)

Have been playing caster types for years (different games) and make it my job to learn what and how each spell works to limit the impact on those keeping agro off me. Old rule that still works "you pull agro you tank it"
