Dev's, Shards in Foundry quests

Was curious if there was going to be any plans to allow any shards to drop within foundry quests?
Sometimes can't find the time for a dungeon run for the seals so gather shards instead.
ATM, I'm trying to get Unicorn seals, but Lava environments I've never really liked within MMO's so was seeking a change of atmosphere. Also the heavy, over the top use of environment Filters used in this game are hard to handle at times.

Even if the shard drops are semi-rare within the foundry quests, it would get me doing them at lvl60 a lot more.
Simply for ID scrolls, some money and a bit of fun are what are enticing me atm to run them. But while I do them, I feel I should be elsewhere doing something else instead to further my characters progress.

I hope this is allowed... unless they already drop and are so extremely rare that I haven't noticed:p

By shards you mean Astral Diamonds?

You can get Astral Diamonds for doing a Foundry Quest once per day.
Personally I agree though. There should be a more common random chance of getting them for completing at least longer, more difficult and higher rated Foundry Content. :)

By gathering 40 shards, one can turn them into Seals at some of the campsites within the zones they're collected in.

Different zones have different collectable shards, so if one is after a certain type of seal, they're restricted to one zone within the game.

I'll do dungeons as well to get seals, but when the family is around.... This isn't usually possible to know when I can devote the time involved and really don't like dropping groups. I find it annoying when others do, so never wish to do the same, even when groups are struggling with the content, usually in the group till the end.

Not in the game atm to check it out, so I guess I missed something within the game. Could you explain further?
If you mean by purchasing seals with diamonds, tis not the way I want to get seals. I have many other uses for diamonds I've been finding without adding this to the list. I also find those with real money they can pump into the game can simply buy uber items this way within the game so have always questioned if this is the P2W element of the game I've tried my best to ignore.

Hmmm, you got your terminology all mixed up.

You're talking about the seal vendors, or so it seems.
Those guys actually trade you seals for drops of the items in areas.

For instance Many Arrows Insignia's aren't shards of Seals of the Lion, they are essentially a form of currency. He gives you something you value for something he values.
You can actually already do this if a quest has a bunch of, for instance, orcs. They drop many arrows insignia's even in Foundry Content so an orc based quest already gives your "shards" of seals of the lion.

But in any case I'm all for adding some sort of random higher tier rewards for Foundry Quests be it refined Astral Diamonds, a couple of Seals. Anything of the like. I don't think items like Many Arrows Insignias have the same 'w00t' factor that actual Shards or Diamonds can have.
And just a handful of either for completing a quest every once in a while would bring a smile to player's faces.

My opinion means no more than any one of yours though. Even if I say my opinions to the "overseers" they want to hear it from you guys too. ;)

Ahhh dang, you are right, they're called Insignia's not shards. Sorry don't have access to game today and reduced to using my Ipad to search the web. So wish I could adjust my thread title:) For some reason thought they were called shards. /slapsforheadhard

No they are called bounties. Sometimes its a wolf insignia, sometimes its sludge or mushrooms or whatever, it is "Bounty Currency". Anyways I think seals in foundry quest would be nice but hard to do properly without actual "boss" mechanics
    I am usually Deaths Crowbar.

Btw Ambisinisterr, how do you find the time/energy to read/reply to so much content on this forum lol.
You do a great job. Hope your gathering items yourself and trading them for energy/sanity.

I see why I thought they were called shards. The Insignia's I'm collecting atm are called Ember Shard's. Collecting them in Mt. Hotemow area to hopefully collect enough for unicorn seals.

Whoa.. I just realized how broken having bounties drop in foundry is..

Theoretically you could make a massive amounts of high tier bounties tokens, at low levels.. Fill it with drow for symbols of lloth, or icespire goblins for chunks of mithril..

Farm bounties for your alt/main to get endgame type gear.

Well, since I'm newly signed up on the forum (a few days) I can't start a new thread. The insignias/sigils/seals/whatever they're called on each map that the Bounty Hunters ask for? I can't get them to accept them anymore, anywhere. The first day I played, there was a guy taking them, and then suddenly, the only option I got was to see each bounty hunter's store, or say goodbye.

I'm having to discard them since I can't give them away, and they're taking up room in my inventory.

    Anyone else noticing this bug?
    It was probably me.

His store is where you exchange the bounties. He will usually only sell 2 things a gear bag and a seal of appropriate level.

Yeah I know, but even with the right bounties in the right places, nothing was happening for me. Apparently now it is, so I'm good with that. Cheers for the response :)
