I've been playing some level 29 pvp. It's been fun, but I have a question about my last match.
I assumed that whichever team had control of the 3 points the longest would win, but that didn't seem to be the case. I know it's hard to tell, but I think our team controlled them longer. At the end, we had 4 of the top 5 positions (by points). But the other team won by quite a bit - 1000 to 750 or so. Is there some trick to scoring more/faster?
It was a good match either way, but it sure seemed like nothing we did helped. Any tips?

I might be wrong, but I think your time perception might have been of, and that your team didn't hold the nodes the longest, at least I haven't found a way to get faster points.
Also, final points are given for kills, assists, objectives, they don't really have to reflect on your teams performance at all.
Let's say you get 3000 points for just killing everything, and so does everyone on your team, and then the other team have 900 points each, from capping 3 nodes, they will win, even if they will have the bottom score.

only played a few matches, its a simple capture the flag & win system from what i can tell. you gain points by controlling the flags. if an enemy is standing on your flag it disables the point generation. contested flags are half red/blue and do not generate points at all apparently, but not 100% sure.
So basically if an opponent stands on your point, and no one is on his teams point, he will disrupt your gains.
