Move NPC in 3D Mode?

When you are editing inside the map, in 3d mode, is it possible to move NPC's?

I can't 3d edit them at all, from the looks of it, and I need to move my main guy..

    Can't move NPCs and specials like campfire, traps, encounters, etc. in 3d edit mode at this time.

    Why wouldnt you just move NPC's on the map?
