DPS build

DId anyone do more of a dps build than cc build at lvl 50 and if so was the damage you did comparable to rogues?

    It's very hard to measure this objectively, since I've seen a rogue beaten in damage by a cleric and a rogue with more damage than the rest of the party combined. Player skill drives DPS far more than what build they chose.

    In fact, it's even unclear which of the three paragon paths should yield the best DPS results. Most people would expect Renegade or Thaumaturge to win, but there are some Oppressor feats which can result in a high damage output for a wizard using his powers cleverly.

    I even saw one extremely high damage wizard build that relies almost entirely on Magic Missile, and it is comparable or superior to other max-DPS builds.

    From what I observed in the Beta Weekends, the best policy is to build the class to fit your own playstyle, and then the DPS comes naturally.
