In Part one of our new CG Trailer for Neverwinter, The Lich Queen Valindra gathers her undead army and begins to march on the City of Neverwinter. Watch it here, or in our video gallery!
Just a question. Do you mean that Lolth would help Valindra or that theres 2 different villain groups sieging Neverwinter cause i can't think that Lolth would help lich :P

Maybe because of drizzt, he will perhaps face lolth to free his people?
As drizzt is in game, maybe we can expect lolth to make an appearance. Maybe an event freeing the drows making a lot of them good aligned, and a lot of them being allowed to come to surface (to explain an obvious burst we will have of drow adventurers in the game when they were supposed to be rare)
I would like to see their art of lolth, the art of valindra as sucking life from plants and crumbling face with creepy smile was amazing!

Yeah. Like a huge event. But Lolth also trying to take control of Neverwinter.

I rather think Lolth won't be having much to do with Valindra, as for Drizzt being in game will he really have a huge part to play?
I rather think Drizzt is more a name that will be known for playing a part in how the area is set up, more in the back story along with Entreri etc.
Also i doubt very very much he could "free" the drow since Loth has went from "intermediate" deity to "greater" deity.
If by some odd circumstance he did free some drow and "bring them to the light" they would not be good aligned but i would guess become more neutral like Jarlaxle
Silly question, but wasn't this one of the PAX East trailers released?
And like most computer games, I expect Driz will have a simple cameo and not more. Please stop trying to kill him as that's about the only thing more cliche' than the "clones" of him

See 5th post by me in this thread. It has link to previously posted trailer. It was an exclusive to some game website. This one they have released in HD and on youtube.
And where to sign up for the quest which you were talking about - to 'kill' driz..

Ungh, Drizzt the God Slayer...no thanks :P
And killing Lolth wouldn't help since drows are made to be evil, their culture are evil, Lolth changed their culture to pure EVILNESS! So killing Lolth wouldn't really help to turn drows to good
Whispers to self,
"Actually, I was thinking more like Drizzt facing Lolth and saying - there is good in everyone, even you. Look at me. Do I look good? But there is good in me. So there is good in you too. You don't have to be unpopular, cool and evil god, you can be rich, popular and good like me. Come to rainbow-side with me."
Whispers complete. Composing myself.
Ah yes, exactly that was what I was think...
(looks, afraid that stupid idea might leak out of thoughts)
no really, yes... whatever you said yes. Yes that..
...
...
...
drizzt killing lolth... (trying hard to control laugh at drizzt facing lolth)
NOTE: Rainbow-side is complete opposite of dark-side.

Do you think the 7 Sisters are still alive? Well 6 and the dead one.
If EM the wizard survived until his "Must Die" novel series made him...something else....it's likely the sisters did until...that event regarding their god and the changes to him would have happened to them.
Since we don't have spoiler tags, I'm being deliberately vague, but if Greenwood's last novels are cannon, the answer is clear there.

Love the video and can't wait to see part 2! The more villians the better
Part 1 is of extreme high quality, its also extremely short, barely can call it a trailer of any sorts. in its current form it was not worth the money to make it at all. its forgotten by the large public (that it aims to interest in the game) within a day.

It's a very nice video, and her face crumbling into dust is simply incredible
We've got a quite a lot of Valindra(story trailer), how about some other villian?
Thanks,
Stormshade
But I really liked the creepy laugh.
Huh huh...
EDIT: Found it. It was this post about teaser trailer.

How about Arkleem Greeth as a Dracolich right behind her!

And Lolth would say screw you and eat Drizzt...
But thats darn best story what i've ever seen! (that Evil jumped out of a hole and want to do bad things :P)

Expect if they're poorly made ^^
