Reinforcement kits still broke

Tried to reinforce my ring with Major Combat Jewel I drag kit over ring it shows press A to reinforce and nothing happens. Also not sure if this may relate but my inventory display only works if I'm on show all bags if I change my display to consumables for instance when I go to an item it won't display what it is or sometimes it shows a different item than what I'm on.
