Wonders of Gond items not dropping

After 2 days with 4 hours each day, I have not come across any of these items of Gond that are supposed to be dropping. I have mainly been in undermountain, and Underdark areas and the Fiery Pit areas completing legacy campaigns, Guild stronghold quests and Dungeons. It would be nice to be able to play this event and yes I have talked tot he vendor in PE.

    All of the items other that the grommets, etc, come from the vendor. Most of them come from the Wonders of Creation bags. They are not supposed to drop from enemies.

    I am not farming it. I was doing casual AD weekly quests in Dread Ring, Undermoutain and Icewind Dale. So far, this toon got 1 Wondrous Grommet, 3 Wondrous Cog and 2 Wondrous Sprocket from these 3 weekly AD quests.

    I have 71 Grommets they just keep coming. Sprockets and cogs too.
    Apparently pointing-out the bleeding obvious is a 'personal attack'.

    And if you really want, every profession can make for the event.

    What's a good area to farm them? Sharandar was pretty much a bust.
    I've also noticed that teaming up seems to adversely effect your Gond item drop rates.
    Were you in a team when things weren't dropping at all?

    That was supposed to have been patched.

    People are grinding DL skirmish for them, I've heard a few comments ingame, I did a couple in my daily randoms and they did drop a few, seems people are farming there atm. I'm getting a lot of drops in my regular grinding of CN as well, but as far as I can tell Dread Legion Skirmish is the place to be if you want to farm.

    I thought Green Acres was the place to be?

    Avernus enemies drop lots . Insurgency in vallenhas drop lots for AOE classes , gotta get a hit .

    It looks like drops have some "time" delay... After one group i need to kill few more groups to get a drop. Or I can wait a little and i'll get a drop from next group. Anyway, killing mobs looks like "bad way" to collect that pieces. But they really should do something with that upgrade "thing".

    Do the normal quest and kill the mobs because of the quest "requirement" instead of killing mobs just for the sake of Gond drops. I send one of the toon that did not finish Redeemed Citadel to get Zariel's Favor. There was a lot of drops ... probably because I did not really look for Gond drop.

    WTF ? I didn't look for gond drops and I don't want to look at it. I already got vanity pet, i got artifact, I got that not bore worm mount pack. From just daily duties... But i wrote my opinion about that how it works.

    Interestingly enough after I made this post started getting random drops. I had been grouped (pre-patch) which may have been the cause. Getting plenty of trinkets refining but nothing good from those doohickey bags yet

    My drops have been very weird as well, I have not gotten a single Clockwork Gadget but others have told me they are common. So I don't know what is going on, I pretty much just wrote this event off my to do list.
