Good morning everyone. I used to play the pc version of this game and the last time I played was when they put in the maze engine. I see a lot has changed since then. I am now starting over and playing on my xbox one and shelving all my level 70's from my pc days. I figure with all the changes I would play on the xbox.

What is a good class to play now? I mostly solo but will be doing dungeons at end game. I hear the warlocks suck at end game. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The options are very different to what they were back then.
You used to have a bunch of DPS classes, one pure healer, one pure tank and one Omni Support in the Paladin.

Now you have DPS/Healer builds in both Warlock and Cleric, DPS/Tank with Fighter (GF) and Barbarian (GWF) and the Pally still works both support with no specific DPs route.

BUT... what you also have that you didn't back then is multiple Loadouts. (2 per toon, more available to buy for Zen) So you can level and solo with a DPS loadout, and switch to a support loadout for group play. So if, for example, you played a Cleric back in M5/6 days you had little option but to be a Healer and the leveling/solo side was accordingly difficult. Now that;s not so much the case.

So, to be honest, without knowing what you like to play it's hard to offer a suggestion.

I've got a 20K Warlock and while I'm nowhere NEAR BiS End Game status, and it;s like my third or fourth tier toon, I have lots of fun with my DPS build
(Warlock is the only class that can solo with an Augment companion and still get companion style Combat Advantage via perma Soul Puppet, so they aren't all bad...)
