Oh come on guys, it's only 100k AD, whether they fix it or not, it's actually pretty cool that you move like Groot for 10 minutes, after it expires, you simply renew it, for all intensive purposes, it's permanent. It's also account bound so you can move it around the character you want to wear it. 100k is just one day of grinding. That's my 2 cents anyway. Wish we could also buy the other 2, I took it that you could buy the other looks too, oh well.
Okay, come on guy. "For all intensive purposes" is gibberish. What you want to say is "for all intents and purposes".
And 100K may be one day of grinding for you, but it is much, much more for me because I play to play, not to grind AD. And even if it was just a day's "work", it's not the point.
We shouldn't have to guess what happened. We shouldn't have to guess what our "minimum requirements" are.
And we shouldn't have to hope that hundreds or thousands of other people will do a thing that we wanted to do in order for it to even matter.
Congratulations to Knotty Roots on PC and Xbox for being the winning team! On PS4, Toil & Trouble was victorious!
Players who completed the minimum requirements (20/20 Contest quests) for the winning team should have received the prize through the mail on the character who initially signed up for that team/completed the requirements. If you have not left Protector's Enclave between the contest ending and now, you will need to do so.*
Based on this year's results, Knotty Roots will not be participating in next year's Contest on PC and Xbox. Toil & Trouble will bow out of PS4's event.
*Note: We are investigating isolated reports of players still not getting the prize in the mail on their original character.
Of course, this comes after I went ahead and deleted the character that initially signed up for team Knotty Roots.
Now I wonder if I will get my reward at all.
And the system is still bad. My being on the winning team doesn't change that.
No offense to my fellow Knotty Roots, but I hate that I had to rely on there being enough of you to not completely invalidate my choice, and I hate that there might be a member of one of the other teams that did more work than anyone else did for any other team and they get nothing for their effort.
