Character list and main

The changes done to the character list is really nice. But we can only have one main ? Could u make it so there was no cap on how many mains we have, since sorting by name, play date and the other things wouldnt be able to make it so ur mains are at the top.

I have 4 mains i would like to always show at top. And i bet there are a lot of other ppl with even more toons / mains.

Glad you like it! We'll consider having multiple mains; we weren't sure if having more than one would be useful to people or just confusing.

I think it would be helpful to have multiple mains. I have 4 chars I play often that would be nice to always keep at the top.

I would love to see an option to assign a number to each char and sort by that number.
Also putting small note will be nice -> weak memory + not enough storage space + hoarding = no idea where is what.

But barring the above, assigning multiple "mains" will be better. I only play one, two at most, but I would like to have 10 chars on top for logistics reasons.

The sort categories are not helpful at all.

What's glaringly missing is sort by Total Item Level.

Sort by Level is worthless if you have a bunch of level 70s, because it sorts alphabetically.

There should be sort by character Total Item Level. That alone will hash out most sorting problem. I'd reckon players use the

characters they upgrade/play the most. So the main characters are normally the highest item level. If not, they can still be

tagged as "main" to prioritize them above the others from a Total Item Level category.

Why don't you add a manually sort? Could be by drag-and-drop or arrow buttons allowing to move the selected character up and down the list. With a manual sort we are able to sort the list of characters any way we want to and we don't need any of the current criteria, which are useless when you want to bring the list into a specific order.

At the character selection screen, we don't have the complete information on each character, so we picked the low hanging fruit and initially added "sort by" options only for the information we already have. But I'll investigate sorting by item level.

The initial redesign of the character selection screen did include an arbitrary sort choice (i.e. setting your own sort order) and it is something we'd love to see. It will take enough time and effort to implement, though, that we didn't want to delay this whole feature just for it.
