Mystra's Embrace
Mystra's Embrace is a young guild founded by game veterans looking to build a home where players of all item levels and skill levels are welcome. Elitism has no place here. We are friendly, welcoming, active and social, and we accept any player who wants to participate in a relaxed social environment with other mature adults.
As experienced players, one of our favorite things to do is help new or confused players learn about the game. After level 70, most people inevitably get stuck on what gear to buy or what campaigns to do. Oftentimes, it feels like you hit a wall, where you can't make enough AD to buy what you need, and there doesn't apppear to be a clear reason why your item level is so much lower than everyone else's. We can help. We know what it takes to get your character geared up, and we will guide you to get there. Our hope is that by helping you, you will in turn help us build Mystra's Embrace into a welcoming home.
Each of our members contributes what they can to help us rank up our buildings and guild hall. There is no minimum contribution requirement. We simply expect that if you enjoy being part of our community, you'll help build it. If you don't know how to help, just ask - one of our officers or guild members will be happy to teach you what to do.
If you join Mystra's Embrace, you'll be:
- Surrounded by experienced players who want to see you succeed
- Given the chance to ask questions of experts in your class, who will help you learn the ropes, as well as provide advice on gear
- Inducted into one of the best social environments in the game, full of good-natured adults who love playing the game together
- Offered the opportunity to participate in regular chult and omu hunts, dungeon runs, stronghold marauders, influence runs, and other assorted events that the guild and alliance sponsor
- Be 18+ years old. Sorry, but we only take legal adults to keep the drama to a minimum.
- Be pleasant to be around. We don't mind teaching you about the game (in fact, we enjoy it) but we don't have time to teach you how to be a decent human being. If you don't come equipped with common sense, steer clear.
- Be willing to participate in a social environment. We want to get to know you for you. Our community is built on good people supporting other good people to have fun playing the game. When you join us, you'll notice how close many of our members are. We are that way because we took the time to get to know each other on discord. As such, we strongly encourage discord usage, both for voice chat and to take advantage of the guides and announcements we post there. Barring that, though, we'd like to at least see you say hello a few times in guild chat so we know there's a pulse behind your keyboard.
