Why is there a pack of Tigers outside the map of Soshenstar?

Looking up a map of mob locations when farming trophies reveals a pack of tigers high on a hill outside the map. It seems there is no way to reach them. I have approached from all angles. Has anyone been able to reach them or is this just a design oversight?

Trophy drops should be much higher also, given how rarely the rare mobs actually decide to spawn. RNG stacking is only getting worse.
