We have heard concerns and stories in the past about players avoiding using certain powers during certain fights. We are looking for detailed info on the top 5-10 of these to help us identify and prioritize power fixing needs. This thread is just to share specific examples. Discussions regarding those powers or other tangential conversations will make it more challenging for us to locate the info at this time so please refrain from such discussions and debates here.

Hey there i'll list here the powers that are known to cause lagg and are msotly not recommended to use during things like dragon runs in WOD and all
1-Careful Attack
2-Astral Seal
3-Icy Terrain
4-Knight's Valor
5-Split The sky (this one i heard many players saying it causes lagg but unlike hte above i didn't encounter this kind of lagg with it )
these are the powers on the top of my head and mostly the main ones prohibited in runs by most private channels and specially icy terrain stacking lots of it causes crashed
This is an amazing skill but pallys cannot use it in most group situations as it sends enemies flying in all directions (upsetting just about everybody). As such, it's mostly only used for soloing or against bosses with no adds.
We'd love for the knockback effect to be changed to a knockdown. Proning enemies instead of scattering them would enable the Pally to finally slot the skill and provide an effect that is useful for the team.

In castle never, i think its a cw power but at the 2nd boss, if they drop ice all over the floor you cant see the red squares when its about to switch to the roof hence causing players to get caught out dying in all the effects chaos.
Pillar of power and icy terrain make it almost impossible to see the red on the ground, the repelling spells (sun burst, repel, relentless avenger, a gwf ability I can't remember offhand...) are annoying to dps trying to keep things in groups, the knockdown vs knockback idea is a good one, or maybe a stun effect? Lag issues mostly just with knights valor and astral seal, but mostly during dragonflight and WOD heroics which are laggy anyway, is there a possibility of giving us the option to turn off all the numbers and words that pop up during a battle, not just lowering frame rate but getting rid of the dmg notifications altogether?
I don't play a SW but I know for such a long time Warlocks Bargain causes MAJOR lag, and can shred OP's and also when used against another SW using Warlocks Bargain it's like you are throwing dice. Who's going to die first basically.
Knights Valor is also one of the WORST offenders in terms of lag. Lots of people avoid using it because of the lag.
If you rush dungeons like MSP, grouping enemies and then facing them all together at once, it causes the frame rate to decrease. And it becomes really bad if you start using powers like Tyrannical Threat (SW) or Knight's Valor (GF) which start reflecting damage everywhere. I've also noticed problem with frame rate linked to Whirwind of Blades (TR). However, I want to underline that these problems linked to frame rate happen only with a big amount of enemies (i.e. everithing works pretty well if you face 1-2 groups of enemies at time, like the dungeon was intended) and the situation is worse in presence of enemies spamming red areas or players using skills that generates a lot of graphic effects.
Whirlwind (Legendary) in MSVA causes the dungeon to become glitched and you can't finish it, well, we have made a workaround where we figure who's drawing aggro, then that person dc's, and we continue on that path until the dungeon becomes "unstuck".
Knights Valor and Bond of Virtue has been glitched since the beginning of time, causing the Paladin and Guardian Fighter to be stuck in combat.
Additionally that Split The Sky ability Hunter Rangers use absolutely kills FPS and as a tank I have to lower my view to keep track of enemies because it causes me to lose view of the battlefield.
I don't know if it has to do with performance, but as a TR I can't use Smokebomb or Path of the Blade during the Dragon Turtle fight in FBI. As it causes him to slam all the time. If it's those specific skills or aoe attacks in general, I do not know. I just know that I have to switch to single target skills before the fight. Otherwise we will have 7 wild slams within 5 mins.

The turtle slams more when aggro is switched between characters. Your tank isn't holding aggro over you, so you are taking aggro, causing the slams. The tank needs more aggro pull (or you need less....but tanks shouldn't have that problem)

OH I so agree with this. Even while soloing I would prefer the knockdown instead of a knock-back as it makes usage of some of my other encounter powers pointless if I goof on my rotation or just forget for a moment what I'm doing ( because sometimes the brain just gets stuck on stupid gear). The other issue I've had with it is I have used it mistakenly in like CHult for example and since groups of mobs ca be spaced so precariously close I spent nearly 10 minutes at one point last night because I used it and it seemed that some of the mobs that were effected and flew into another group grabbed that other group too which led to those grabbing another group etc. I was stuck in a seemingly endless fight loop for near 10 minutes last night over a misplaced "relentless Avenger".

I have tried it with different things now, and it seems to be things going invisible where he has problems. Cause it did the same with other classes using stuff where he thinks they are behind him. And I have been running with 15k + tanks whom Iv also run To9g with, so they hold aggro fine. That's not the issue.
