Mail Items/Auction Slots

I'm guessing that this is a Mod 11.5 thing. But has anyone else noticed that any items attached to mail counts against your 40 auctions slots. So if you have 40 pieces of mail with items attached, any mail not just auction based mail, and no items in the auction you can not post anything new in the auction. Also this system does allow for negative slots in the auction if you have more that 40 combined auction consignments and mail attached items.

I understand that this was probably done to prevent people from using the mail as a secondary storage systems with unlimited storage.

Just wondering if anyone noticed this and if it was included in the recent patch notes?

    It was definitely intended and included in the PC patch notes back in the day. I can't find the link now, but as you guessed it is likely Consoles just got this (whether it was documented well in the patch notes or not is another story)

    This change took effect at least a few months ago, & I do believe it was bc, as u mentioned, ppl were using mail as storage (dnt quote me on it yet, but I feel very confident that was a/the reason)
