What is the current state of the foundry?

A few weeks ago there were no foundries available in the catalog. Today there are but I can not get in one, I found out, while visiting a friend's foundry. Is there a way to fix this? I have not found a single answer anywhere to any recent hint of the foundry. It looks like things are happening? Maybe? I can't be sure. My frustrations are growing as I am locked out of the foundries I worked on myself. I've gotten no help in sending in a ticket just directing me to the forums with nothing further to add to that.

My friend is able to enter the foundry but I am constantly hit with "An error has occurred while connecting to the proxy server, if this happens again it may be helpful to try disabling the proxy client and restarting the game."

The proxies were disabled. I restarted my client, force verified, safe mode, restarting the computer, repeating the whole process and I still get the same result. If one person is able to get into their foundry, surely there is a way for me, right?

The foundry was my favorite thing about Neverwinter. I loved creating worlds of my own. Neverwinter has had the easiest world building mechanics I've ever seen. It makes me very sad that all my hard work is lost, especially when I see that there might be a glimmer of hope if other people are able to use it but me. I do hope it's something that I'm doing wrong. And I hope I get feedback, preferably from a dev or someone that can help me with this issue.

I was able to get on the foundry but discovered that the map transitions do not work. I thought they had the maps fixed but they are back to a black background again. In order to see the maps, I had to play them first and then return to the foundry.
