Vault of the nine artifact filler

Hi guys. It's Double RP event so I bought a Latern of Revelation and planned to use my Sigil of the Great Weapon as a filler but it is not appearing as a "refine stone" option even after I uneqquip it. I was wondering if the reason is that it's a free artifact from Vault of The Nine quest. Anyone knows?

    Free artifacts can not be used as refinement. It states this directly on them i think, at least in most cases.

    The reason is that they would provide unlimited free rp.

    You are right... When I clicked on Inspect it's rigth there: can't be used to refine another item. :(
