When is the crit exploit going to be fixed? I am trying to run a particular piece of content and people are using it for their cheat pad, really annoying they are coming and going and not playing the content just setting up to cheat....

It's just out of control right now. @nitocris83 Is this going to get fixed anytime soon? No bans have been handed out and the content is completely trivialized. Come on do something, it's just a complete joke that people are advertising glitched runs in chat.

Pretty sure glitch has been hotfixed earlier in the evening. At least that's what I get from SoMI chat. If you still see someone with it they probably procced the glitch awhile ago and logged out of that character.

Bans have been handed out it just takes due time for the people in-charge of that to investigate the evidence provided against such player, simply put in due time for certain players. Think of it as a Assassin's target list.

I've seen some pretty crazy stats on PS4 but nothing a little bit of real money and time can't produce. I've never seen the numbers some of you have listed here. I have 6 toons, 5 are level 70 and only 1 has completed most of the content on console. I'm not even close to these stats. Haha

My questions, are these players just cleverly using game mechanics and others are complaining about it or is/was this a real exploit?
Also, I've been looking at some class builds on another site and one of those users (PC) took down their guide do to being hit with the Ban Hammer. I assume it had something to do with this issue. Should I stop using class builds from other sites and just stick to this one?

Obviously if they are threatening bans, it was an exploit. It wasn't anything that a build guide should have included in it, and nothing that could have been done on accident. Those that were exploiting the bug (which I believe should be patched now), knew very well that they were exploiting something bad, given the steps that they had to do in order to do it. The guide you are talking about had nothing to do with this. MMOMinds should still be a good site to check out for guides, if I"m not mistaken.

@kreatyve I'm still kind of new here but I have played other MMO's where clever use of game mechanics were deemed exploit and resulted in a ban. I was just asking if this was one of those instances. But, you cleared that up. So thank you for that. In regards to my other inquiry I just wanted to make sure that I wasn't breaking the game by taking tips from a player guide. Neverwinter is fun and 5 of 6 toons are level 70 on console and 1 toon is around 26 on PC. The grind is harsh and tedious but the payoff feels good. Thanks for the reply.

Yeah, normal critical severity is in the neighborhood 125-130% max plus the weapon enchant that does not display in stats, these people had a stat of 25,000%...so not in the realm of 'good build' or clever mechanics...
