Manaseeker's Talisman not receiving Refinement Point for CWs

Please see picture: Dropping a Legendary Twisted off-hand into Manaseeker's Talisman is not providing 2xRP, even though the off-hand states "Always Double Refinement". Any CW who wants to use their existing off-hand to upgrade the new artifact off-hand will lose out on 1.8 million RP...

yes, the bug happens on SW offhand too.

I did feed my Legendary Twisted into the new Relic offhand but didn't notice the bug until it was too late =(


Update: improved wording.
The bug seems to only happen with the offhand because mainhand is affected by "always double refinement", and neck and belt are affected by the double refinement event.

Belt and neck shouldn't be getting the 2x bonus anyways. Only weapons should have the tag for it.

My bad for the wrong wording, I mean that mainhand works fine always, and that neck and belt work fine during double refinement events.

Offhand doesn't seem to be affected neither by the "Always Double refinement" nor the Double refinement event. I feeded my offhand on last double refinement event =(

Same with HR offhand. We cant even transmute them too.

I had the same issue when refining my GF shield. I submitted a support ticket, but no response yet.

OK, got a response from Support on the issue...

"I understand your concern regarding the total Refine Points that you accumulated after refining your Legendary Twisted Artifact. Unfortunately, it appears that you must have the Shieldbearer Shield to be at least Rank 15 to have the maximum Refine Points transfer to it.

Based on the Arc post of one our Developers, quoting "Starting with Underdark, any artifact weapon that has been upgraded to rank 15 or above will always refine into another piece of artifact equipment at double the rate, whether an event is running or not.
This means that refining an artifact weapon into artifact equipment will not be affected by double refinement events. Now there’s no need to wait, you can transfer the maximum amount of your investment at any time!"

I guess I just got lucky that the Main Hand worked as 2xRP from Level 1.

@darthbbq it is supposed to refer to the equipment you sacrifice, not the one you are feeding.

Maybe every slot is implemented on its own code and offhands are checking the wrong side.

The new item should be level 15 before you refine your old artifact into it. So that missing 42,000 RP cost me about 2 million.

The response from your support ticket is 100% incorrect. The item you are destroying has to be above 15. The item you are keeping has absolutley no level requirement.

The relic off hands are simply broken and not recognized as the same slot. You get double rp..thats not the problem. What you are not getting is the same type bonus.

dont know if any of u notice but when i try to refine the talisman using another off-hand item i get only 100 points not 200. the main hand doesent have that problem.
