Looking to Join an Alliance

Who are you people!?

We are a group of mature players and some vets that enjoy specialized and themed teaming. We are looking to join a larger Guild that can help us along in this Neverwinter Adventure. We currently have between 10 and 20 members but hope to grow that quickly with the Alliance of an active Guild to take us under their wings.

In August 2005, a few people who were regular posters and lurkers in the Worlds best MMO City Of Heroes joined each other in team and community play. We proposed a specialized teaming format that involved multiple classes and skill levels. The idea took off and the "Super Group" quickly formed and grew into one of the largest and most successful groups in the game. A global channel was created to connect these groups when many members learned of the pending launch of City of Villains, the global channel was renamed to Repeat Offenders.

In October 2005, City of Villains was released and many Heroes were seduced by the dark side. Which allowed our community to grow even further and grew our online family of mature and pre-mature players. We have always kept a strict rule of being cautious of our audience as members have younger sons and daughters that play this game as well as the multitude of other games we have moved into since the closing of our Super hero doors by the evil NCSoft a few years ago.

We would love to join an active Guild that has like minded players and that wants to grow, we are typically more PVE than PVP but enjoy anything that challenges the game and ourselves. I look forward to talking to you, feel free to reach out to me here or in game. @faeromalikite

Oh, and we have lots of pringles!!

I think openly scouting for an alliance while still in an alliance is rather rude towards your alliance partners and fellow guild members, don't you think? It would have been better manners for Guild Medieval to leave the alliance first before joining another alliance with another guild. This way you just look like leechers waiting for something better. Not saying you are, but it just makes you look bad.

    What the heck, @magenubbie ?

The guild here is called Repeat Offenders. I think they sound like a good fit for Guild Medieval and therefore Tyrs Fellowship due to similar ethos, but it seems you didn't read carefully.

    @beckylunatic I think @magenubbie means this:

But on the other hand, I don't think the OP is actually a guild, and instead messed up all the terminology.
It more looks like a bunch of people from some old 2005 era channel that look to join a single guild as a package, and not a guild looking for alliance.
But who knows.... it's totally not clear, not from the post, not tags, and not ingame search..

I will step out since the questioning is based on knowing the individual and their existing connections.

The OP has a character in Guild Medieval, but has other characters in Repeat Offenders. Guild Medieval are not looking for a new alliance and at the moment our alliance is full!

I think there is some confusion here. I have 4 characters that are not in GM, (Taboo, Winter Hawk, Faerine Zouko, and Drigos) they are in the guild that brought me into the game. I applied for Repeat Offenders to be in the Alliance with GM but there wasn't room at the time I applied. RO is looking for a group to get into an alliance with, no intentions of pulling my other characters from GM.

I am not an Officer in GM, but I am an officer in RO. I enjoy playing with GM, but I also have my original Guild to look out for and getting them into an alliance does that. Fill free to PM me directly if you want to discuss the dead hamsters lol. I am also pretty sure that I am not the only person that has characters in more than 1 guild.

Since you don't even mention Guild Medieval (of which you are at least a member or possibly even an officer) but some obscure dead forum as your guild instead I'm really not sure what to make of this alliance search. It smells like dead hamsters.

I did apply for Tyrs first, but since GM doesn't have any openings I could not become part of the Alliance. GM and its alliance was my first stop on trying to get RO into a gauntlet spot.

Repeat Offenders? He's a GM member lol. Inspect him. Repeat offenders smells more like a graveyard than Neverdeath does if their forums are any indication. No NW posting for months apart from his own. It has no leadership/activity to speak of. And he's not applying for that GM/TP alliance is he? He's doing the exact opposite. If he wanted to join that alliance, he'd scarcely had to write this thread. There would be no need. TP has a recruiting thread he could have applied on and I'm sure that within any reasonable alliance (and both GM and TF have a reputation for being easygoing, reasonable and fair) things like this can be discussed internally. Especially since he's already a member of another guild in that alliance.

It just doesn't sound right. Why would one promote a dead guild while being in an active alliance? There's only 1 answer that makes sense: He's leeching from the TP/GM/? alliance while trying to bring his old guild into another alliance. And that's rude and disrespectful in my opinion. Perhaps I'm reading more into this than I should, but I'm still smelling a hamster.

Repeat Offenders was founded in 2005, we have not stopped playing a multitude of MMOs since then. I used the year to show the longevity of our group.
