the snow and fog is like eyes bleed after 20 min. I have a killer head ache there should be a tick to turn it off, I wont be back till there is 1.

I agree, the snow makes it horribly difficult to see anything that is going on. The contrast is bad, and no amount of changing the monitor settings helps. There needs to be some setting in the options where this effect can be turned down or off completely. It makes gameplay miserable.

Also, with the large amount of changes you made to SW and GF classes, shouldn't they get a free respec? That's just irresponsibility and greediness on the part of the game devs. I understand not everyone needs a free respec, but SW and GF suffered the most changes.

um ok something strange going on 40-60 fps on max settings yet i am having alot of lag in the new zone, warping lag enough to get you killed when no other players around. so i tried min settings thinking all the blinding snow was causing graphics lag, umm nope that didnt help. checked my connection, nope its fine checked my speed, its 170mbps download and 12mbps upload, comcast xfinity. so im thinking it could be new zone lots of players server lag, but i dont see anyone around due to the blinding snow, so is it server lag due to tons of players? is it graphics due to the harsh winter conditions? do you guys beta test things with atleast 100 players in the same new zone? sorry for all the questions, but just trying to figure out what game to spend my money on!

What the hell did you do to our Invoking rough astral diamonds?! Seriously! I don't want a freaking boost, i want the diamonds. Why TF are you trying to force people into your damn dungeons? So only the strong get to have AD now? are you just simply weeding out the non paying players? Come ON.. ~_~

They have been talking about this for awhile. It popped up on preview server a couple weeks ago. It IS strange that there is no mention of it in the Patch Notes tho.

You linked only the balance notes. The patch notes were sufficiently large to require two pages. Unless I'm mistaken that mention was made in the other page.

The ill-advised change to invocation and rough AD was enough to kill my little remaining interest in the game. The only way for a player to even HOPE to earn enough AD to supply ONE character with enough AD to buy decent items since the Leadership profession removed AD was through buying multiple character slots and invoking while still playing perhaps a couple of the characters. Sorry, but this change might even violate how the V.I.P. memberships were advertised and sold--I'm not actually getting the AD for invoking that I was supposed to get, am I?

I had zero interest in the new content, so this change pretty much put the nail in the coffin for the game for me. I'm taking a break from it. Let me know when you fix the AD to work normally again and I'll consider coming back. Not everyone is going to continue pumping loads of cash into the game in an effort to TRY to keep up with all the new **** you keep putting out.

Strongly agree. This AD change, as so many other AD changes that have happened in the last 18 months, hurts ONLY real live players that have only a couple of hours a day to play. Realistically, to get the "bonus" AD's, however THAT"S supposed to work, you would need to run either a dungeon or at least two skirmishes. Per toon.

This AD change pretty much is going to kill MY NW career. I simply do NOT have time to play EACH TOON for a MINIMUM of 30 minutes EVERY DAY. I don't normally play more than TWO of my toons daily, for maybe that two hours. SO, like the patch notes DO say, I and pretty much every other HONEST player ARE going to see a DRASTIC decrease in AD's.

And when the game sees a drastic DECREASE in players, this time likely PERMANENT, the poor decisions made by whomever's running this mess will be to blame.

Um, the AD removal won't have much of an impact on 'casual' players because casual players don't make 20+ toons and cycle through them to invoke (or use bots to do the same). If you are a casual player, you would generally have a handful of characters you play occasionally and maybe one/two mains that you actively use - if you do then you'll benefit from the AD buff by running the normal content most casual players run.

If you choose not to play group events like dungeons, tiamat, demo etc. then thats a choice you've made and you've already shot yourself in the foot by not playing them because they have the chance to give some nice rewards.

I'm sorry you feel the invocation changes affect you so negatively, but I don't think trying to pass yourself off as a casual player is the right way to put your point across here because the change was made to benefit casual play as opposed to bot/mass character play.

I expect to get shot down immediately by similarly angry players who used invokes as a main source of income, but whatever - for those of us who didn't bot or have invoke armies but only play a few characters actively, this is looking to be a positive change -(providing you actually play content).

CASUAL (def): Occurring at irregular intervals, not planned; occasional ]] showing little interest; nonchalant }} A person who works at irregular intervals.

So. TOTALLY WRONG. I will loose pretty much any and all AD I previously earned in a day. Except for the "bonus" AD that I may get IF I earn enough "real" AD by playing dungeons and skirmishes. So on any given day, MATHEMATICALLY, I have to run TWO skirmishes AND something else on EACH toon to get my full complement of "bonus" AD, SINCE I paid for VIP and thusly am due 3300 "bonus" AD daily.

Given that It takes about 15 mins. for something like Throne of the Dwarven King or similar skirmishes, that's 30 Mins per toon for the skirmishes, and I'm still out about 300 of my bonus AD. Or did they increase the AD reward for skirmishes? Didn't see THAT in the patch notes.

So after TWO hours of rotating out four of my nine toons I still won't have earned AD equivalent to what I would have previous to this heinous change. Sure, If you ONLY have four toons and ONLY play NW, YOU probably will be just fine. The rest of us... "bleepity bleep bleep blap".

    Nuff' said.

Ok. So some serious points and questions come to mind after my log on today.

    1) WHY is invocation STILL handing out the "bonus" AD at the levels that FORCE a player to log on multiple times over the course of FOUR hours? It seems to me that the most player friendly way to apply "bonus" AD would to front load the largest amounts of bonuses FIRST, instead of last.
The current set up was designed to make it harder to get "real" ADs. I get that and understand the logic, BUT now that WE the players have to go out and EARN AD's to get MORE AD's, it only makes sense that we be allowed to IMMEDIATELY be able to go out and earn our "bonus". Instead of having to wait FOUR HOURS and have to invoke FIVE times to THEN be able to earn the fullness of said "bonus".

    2) I didn't see a counter FOR the "bonus" AD's. So to me that means that the "bonus" AD's earned on any given day DO NOT CARRY OVER. Wonderful. So I go to all the trouble to log on and invoke five times, and I don't even get to keep the bonus that I have "earned". Is that a correct assessment of how the system is going to work?

    3) Let's go back to almost a year ago. There was this MASSIVE NERF in AD earnings. Leadership AD earning was almost entirely gutted. And over the course of a few more months, Totally gutted. And for a period of time AD to Zen costs dropped, to a low of around 380 AD to a Zen in January/February of 2016. By May 2016 this was back up to around 480 AD per Zen. SO huge amounts of AD were "removed" from the system... and in less than nine months AD to Zen had stabilized back at near max levels.

    4) This change, IF it was intended to hurt botters, WILL NOT. All it's going to do is Upset, Anger, Frustrate, and seriously Annoy casual players. Especially people with real jobs that have only a couple of hours a day to play. You have taken away the shiny small reward to go into the game, and have instead created a system where a player HAS to "work" to get AD's to get progress and stuff for their toons. NOT a recipe for player happiness.

I have six months worth of V.I.P. and am currently dealing with surgical recovery on my arms. So what this tells me is that all I will be getting for that money is a key, when it clearly states:

Invocation- can be done anywhere and you will receive 10% bonus Astral Diamonds plus additional items.

So yes, this new change violates the V.I.P. membership that was paid for. I'd like to know what is going to be done about it.

I've wondered the same thing and I wouldn't be surprised if the terms of service have a disclaimer in place that the offered service is subject to change without notice. Just a hunch but I'm sure they've legally covered themselves.
