Lists of companions by role?

Is there a guide or list of companions by the roles they fill?
Or rather by tank, DPS, or healer?

I'm mostly looking for good 'questing companions' for various classes, other than the free one you get from I think a level 10 or so quest.
(the free ones are good for this purpose, but I'm not fond of them aesthetically and looking to see what my options are).
PST timezone older player. Mostly play tanks and healers. Don't game outside of MMOs.

    Try checking the companion page on NW wiki. I don't think they are broken down by role but they do indicate what role each one is.

    Please fix Zhentarim Warlock companion's skill "Arcane Warping" to the originally intended "Arcane Boost"

    Pure -> Transcendent Plague Fire weapon enchantment giving 80damge/20 seconds for 500k+ AD is a joke.

    Yes thanks. That list had the essentials of what I needed.

    my main still use Phoera, and made it to legendary, if cant afford, use VIP for daily free keys, built up to buy it with T-bars. i could recommended one of those out of cycled lockboxes with highest amount of companion tokens that you get 30/(32), and rest of others are randomly for 2-3 tokens and if lucky to get 30.

    and if need more T-bars, there one lockbox from previous cycled drops for extra T-bars. i cant remember those names of boxes.

    I bought the 'ghost' companion during the sale because it looked nice... Now I can't figure out which character to give it to...

    But otherwise the wiki page has been very useful in helping me avoid that mistake again.

    But I do wish I'd found it, and played a little more, before I got my 'first purchase' war dog... having a tank pet that reduces threat bound to my tank character is kind of sad... if I could buy that pet again, I would. I'd love to have it on my ranger.
