What i had in mind:
Sure atm artefact upgrades will go up but mounts and companions will go down due to less boted AD = lowering of general prices = total AD for endgame char remains the same.
Yes it wont affect me - but had my refinement from leadership and dread ring mostly so i dont feel like a cheater.

Ofc. Remember we need tons of RP, not doable for casual player who farm r5 for his own. AH came with help, cheap RP, but still many not hitted 3k il yet. Tip is you need at least legendary artifacts, higher level enchantments, reinforcement kits, artfact equipment epic-legendary to been wanted for zergs and other farm channels. Its easy to get 2-2.5k, but higher il cost time, which is good. But if you farm all by yourself 3k il is way harder, longer to acheive. Not resonable amount of time. But what could I know, I remember times when r5 was common in slots.

This is the problem - end game progression is completely reliant on grind and RNG, and that causes the demand for bots. Cryptic won't target the actual source of the botting problem (too much grind) and instead does stuff that only hurts real players, and just causes a massive hit on the economy while the bots raise their prices. The bots go nowhere, prices go up, the bots adjust, prices go down.
What Cryptic should be doing is reducing grind. Then people would not need bots. For example, replace all r5s with r7s in epic dungeons. Put a good chance of an r9 into epic dungeon chests. Put the chance of an r10 into Tiamat. Since all this stuff is the end game, reward players for playing it rather than giving them a bit of AD to buy from bots.
Now you hit the nail So if by some magic bots dissapeared grinding would be reduced couse else players will simply abandon the game.
Current: need shtload of RP: Solutions: a) embrace bots - cheap RP. b) reduce RP needed to progress/make it more available. c)ignore situation and watch players leave.

I gotta say I like the idea of dungeons being rewarding again. There was a time you had a fair chance of dropping something you could actually sell at AH and feel damn happy about the time spent. I had no problem running the old T2 dungeons and CN over and over again. It was the stuff in the chest that was the driving force. I am not running head over heals for a 0% chance of getting a +5 ring that cannot be sold.

PC version is here since 3 years, xbone is fresh. In the past r5 stack costed alot more. But it wasnt so much needed (only fr high level enchants) when there was 0 or 1 artifact. Then they added 3 artifact slots and some time ago 4th.
We need rp for gear AND for SH progression. So yeah. Its succesful fight against bots (binding things not help players - if someone is maxed he should be able to sell overflow rp) with all real instruments implemented AND halving or even bigger reduction on rp needed for upgrades.

SH does not need RP anymore because that can be made through profession. For personally consumption, you can make your RP if you can take the time.
The announcement of skill node nerf would not cause the raise of enchantment price that much. At least, it should not have direct effect until it is actually in effect. I believe the raise of enchantment price is caused by shortage of supply which is caused by a few big sellers (bots) were banned.

The RP grind is absurd and has gotten worse. They've nerfed RP drops like the dragon horde enchant, foundry, mod 7/8 dropless areas. They have not increased the usability or lowered the price of RP in the item shop: Blood rubies haven't been usable in 4 mods and are overpriced and pointless.
So honestly, I think this game would be more broken without the bots. The maintainers of this game are very much out of touch with their player-base and most decisions come from a bean-counter perspective and give little value to keeping long-time players interested.
