Which Epic Dungeons should I start with

tivvumtivvum Member Posts: 33 Arc User
Greetings All,
I've recently hit 70 and have been slowly increasing my IL.
I'm a non-guilded GWF with an IL score of 2.3k. What Epic dungeons should I start queueing for?

Thanks in Advance.

Since you are fresh when it comes to group content Im not sure that by epic dungeons you actually mean epic dungeons only so except of the above I advise you to run Kessells Retreat - Skirmish thats probably the easiest beneficial (daily AD and salvageable blue items, a lot of r5s and possible unique artifact) level 70 group content. Its also the safest thing you can queue for if you need to be carried (and even if your ilvl exceeds their minimal value - if you havent played group content before - you ARE going to be carried :P ), since pure PuG parties like to fail scorpions/Valindra herself. Shoes of Tuern are easy too, but last boss can be painful without a tank.

Prophesy of madness and Throne of dwarven gods skirmishes should also be easy for your ilvl, and it will help you get the drowcraft gear too.

Don't just random queue, go to protector's enclave and look the LFG channel to find a group for whatever dungeon you need.

Random queue is the worst way to go into dungeon.

    Thanks for the advice all.
Time to find a guild methinks.

I've been doing the POM skirmish fairly regularly, I'll try the other skirms..

Mod 8 Skirmishes seem fine for pugging. I've rarely run into skirmishes that do worse than silver and usually they're able to hit gold.

Look into the legit community channel, (see my signature) - there are often people looking to team there.

Lair of Lostmauth should be no problem at 2.3k. Solo queuing for it will take some time but you'll most likely get through it.
Epic Temple of the Spider will be though, you'll need a good team to get through. Solo queuing is probably not going to have a lot of success and LFG chat probably won't like your item level. A guild or legit channel is a better way to go.
But those two are the easiest (and therefore most frequently run) T1 and T2, respectively.

Also note that Underdark provides some additional ways to gear up with Drowcraft equipment and Protector's seals from Demogorgon. (I assume you're already in Elemental Alliance or better at that item level so don't care about the plentiful Elemental seals.)

    Lucky you ;)
