Ey , the GWF moves like in slow motion, these days GWF runs like "Hellhounds"
Base movement speed is the same. What increased is 40% more sprint bar. Why?
- unstoppable ultranerf module 4, from 50% DR to useless 30%, now pierced or deleted by ArP. - Damage ultranerf - Determination gain from damage taken reduced to 1/5 of what it used to be - Threat rush with charges
Might forget some of the multiple module 4 nerfs to the class...
The ones running more are the GWFs using Battlefury. Which is a no-damage self buff, which means you give up burst damage or DS mark. Also unfettered strikes adds speed of movement. And off-hand bonus on destroyer.
GWFs in the video were module 2 sentinels. Way tankier than current GWF.

ye and lets not forget a 50% weapon damage buff, stacks required for max damage halved and a 20% damage boost with encounters while on unstoppable, no damage reduction on at wills while in unstoppable (yes it was a thing) on top of the godly buffs on sure strike. To not talk about the hidden daggers "gift"

And wonder, why all these buffs came? Because of module 4 overnerf. Now, you guys are doing the same. You are throwing in, and explained multiple times why, unreasonable nerf requests with nothing else. Which would make GWF the same as module 4, while you ask for your classes to be buffed (same as module 4), which would lead again to an underpowered GWF (module 4). After that, for a period you'd laugh at GWFs, saying "hahaha learn to play now". Then, GWFs would get a buff again and you'd whine again.
Shin talked about movement. I explained where the sprint buffs came from, compared to module 2 GWFs seen in the video.
Battle Fury is damage / ap gain / stamina buff ...
AP gain is low. And i mentioned the damage buff. The main effects are at-wills buff and stamina recovery. You still lose burst potential as i explained, because you replace one damage encounter OR double mark (piercing damage), with a "normal damage" buff. It's well known that you lose burst when using a BF build/ rotation.
A post about GFs turns into a nerf GWF post. lol You guys never stop.
See? I post a video about tenacity and burst damage how i'd like to see it in PvP, and it turns out in a "GWF is too strong" discussion. Sorry but the only test videos i got were those of @ayroux...who used his GWF.
But still, damage at full stacks is too high. Same as GF one-rotating burst, just working different.
What many players do not realize is that while decreasing the full stacks damage, GWFs must be reworked with some effective defensive mechanic. Sprint and Unstoppable are too weak.
It's ok for fighters to get less damage/ less burst, but you must also give them some tool to then sustain the fight. Right now, GWF and GF, IF STRIPPED OF THE DAMAGE, are weak in PvP. Any TR or other class with some self heal or proper dodges would outperform them.
Still, back on topic using a stealth ring on fighters feels very wrong. I think these rings should be implemented with some limitations, if they're to stay.

Watch some premade PVP videos. The GWFs are always dead or running away. Even the self-proclaimed skilled GWFs.
And this is the sad truth about GWF class right now: On high levels, the class only can kill pugs and undergeared players most of time.
a geared gwf losing to hr, cw, sw is just a bad gwf. and im kinda sure you wont be killed by a dc. lets leave paladins out of the equation: The only one with a chance to kill you are trs and gfs.

The only class that kills a GWF is either GF or another GWF imo, TR is not much a threat once you reached 150K+ HP with decent self heals/water wheel/heal pot (with SH boon) / water weapon.
The truth is, if TR cannot burst you down with SE, then their daggers normally doesn't deal enough dmg to kill you. If they want to reserve SE for the last burst, then the chance is their daggers wont deal enough dmg to bring you down to the point enough to be killed by SE. Bottom line is, if your HP pool is high with all these healings, they are not much a threat when its a 1 vs 1 situation.... so yea, I vote GF/GWF the only classes that has decent chance killing GWFs
What icy and mac wrote is accurate imho. If the GWF gets enough HPs to tank SE, and uses mythic wheel/ drowned set/ exc...the only classes that beat it are GFs. Stalled by DCs due to lack of CC, and obviously paladins. But i see many BiS GWFs going full damage, with 115-120k HP. My guess is that may be they only go premade, where paladins and DCs already give you so much healing and protection that all you have to do is go all-out on damage and take down the enemy's OP/DC first.
Agree with @icyphish . Gwf class is by no means weak and is able to kill any equally geared class (except DC/OP). Only GF is a real threat but can be killed as well if they fck up their rotation, but in fact - they will more often kill you than you will kill them.
At TRs I do just laugh at the current state with my close to 160k HP build.
A BIS MI sab dealt 120k+ damage to me yesterday without problems severeal oneshoots, first strike slotted I am sure. So no TR can SE you for that ammount and get the rest down since you heal up that fast even him using DC sigil? That´s weared. btw some OP´s get killed in DOM by warlocks even near BIS, but I have no clue why some go down and some not

i always strongly said tr damage is laughable except for shocking execution. this mean is the tr is not able to kill you with that daily you can rest in peace you wont die. TR for me is one of those classes that need to be looked at since they are really a one trick pony. One can complain about 1.5k piercing damage but be sure, i would prefer to strike medium to hard ( a stealth class even if a striker should never really strike hard but still the damage is generally way too low) with common moves rather than hit for peanutes for hours and hours waiting for a my big hit to be ready and pray. its not first priority but its definitely bad design.
@xsayajinx1 and no, be fair a 120k shocking is definitely unconventional and when it happens i know i will be able to kill that tr with the my remaining 20k HP.
