Please help.. Epic Gear locked

I accidentally equipped a piece of epic gear that I intended to sell/trade. Now I can't do either.. I even tried refining it & still nothing. My last resort was to sell it to a vendor but that seems like a waste. Any other options?

    Salvage it? I'd wait until next 2X AD to do it though.

    Once items are bound, there is no way to unbind them. Depending on what the item is your options are to salvage it, vendor it, discard it, or feed it to your guild's mimic.
