Another issue here is the sort of unspoken underlying problem. One, maybe two weapons that are worth farming. Guys, 50% run speed for 2 seconds? I mean LOL seriously? Or 160 defense or 160 power... if you exchange blows at all (and you always will no matter what class you are) you will never build more than a couple of stacks before you've lost them again. These are not well thought out at all. The DR when you stand still is only going to be good for like maybe Pallies who just sit like a rock (but heals would be better). The AP gain one will depend on what the "chance" is to gain AP after a daily (guys why not be transparent here... just give us the flipping percent chance? Often that "chance" equates to 100% with a CD but it would be nice to know). These are just bad choices, there is a reason everyone is going for the Drowned weapons... because there are no other well thought out alternatives. Other than that +1 to everything else said here. Please quit trying to push reused content on us by forcing us to grind for new gear. I mean gawds man, you could've at least brought back like CN or Karrundax or some such and made the new weapons as chest rewards and RNG as to which one you got like the old school CN with gear was, then at least it feels like a reward rather than a stupid, forced reuse of antiquated zones that noone enjoys.
Not everything is for PvP.
In PvE a lot of classes are hitting things more often than they get hit so the set bonus for twisted weapons might as well read something like "+3840 power, +160 def ".
You may be correct, if you are hitting entire mobs and they are rarely hitting you back then you may gain a lot of power. If you feel it is worth it or necessary to get 4k more power when doing PVE, because PVE end game is sooooo challenging and interesting, then you go right ahead and be happy with doing the same HE 100 times for said weapons. However, look at the number of people going for the drowned weapons (who aren't so concerned with the completely challenging and interesting end game PVE as you obviously are) and see more easily what I'm talking about. Besides, as I plainly said, there may be a couple of weapon sets people are going for but the majority of them are useless... That's also not to say some people won't get said useless sets...
Twisted weapons are bought from a vendor with ichor you get by playing the demogorgon raid (which you need to run 40 times).
Also lol @ the PvE sarcasm. Because Neverwinter PvP isn't thoroughly broken and inferior to basically every other third person competitive multiplayer game on the market.
lol @ the PvE Because Neverwinter PVE is boring and repetitive and can be done with your eyes closed and is inferior to basically every other MMO PVE game on the market

While I can understand the OPs frustration, I don't agree with his request. Remember, these are leveling zones. Filling them up with HEs only works against any player trying to get through the normal content. The only reason this problem exists is because everyone is trying to do the same right now. Give it a week or so. Things will return to normal eventually and people will farm these HEs a lot easier.
All they need to do is increase the drop rate on other HEs. That'll make it even better for players that are leveling because there would always be people playing all the HEs so they would have a better chance to easily finish the vigilance quests for the HEs.

I disagree, it's easier to farm now because at least you can just stand in a zone at the least and get one mote every 10 mins guaranteed. When everyone gets their weapons these zones will be like Icewind Pass... deserted with no hope of getting enough people together to do those 15+ HE's to farm your weapon. It will get worse for the new player trying to gear up.

This why I've suggested that mote drop rates on smaller HEs should be dynamic and more likely to occur the fewer players are participating. It solves the issue of trying to obtain an unpopular weapon, and depopulated zones.
This is the real question isn't it? For me it's because I've invested so much time into this game, I have friends who play and I've acquired all the boons and enchants and the like running all the different campaigns... I'd hate to see a game I've had so much fun in and spent so much time playing go by the wayside.
