Why did Trans Vorpal go up please?

Last I know it's like 8 million or something... now it's almost 11M. Some guys in trade channel have been asking to swap for a Trans Fey like wot!? Am I missing something? Vorpal buff? Trans refinement process becoming more expensive?? More reagents whatnot? The 2% buff/debuff of this enchant is the biggest regret of my Neverwinter life LOL. I'd just really want to know.

    Because it does not hurt them to post something high. i.e. they don't need to consider the risk of losing posting fee.

    They may also be trying to play the AH to their advantage - i.e. they saw there were only a few posted at the lower price, bought them all and are reposting high.

    why go for the 2nd best when you can go for the 1st?

    Terror, Fey, Plaguefire and Vorpal are the big four - which one is "best" sort of depends a lot on your class, build and playstyle. Also, a lot of party-oriented PvE healers and OPs are using Holy Avenger these days to pretty good effect.

    Personally, I'm a fan of Terror, though I like Fey a lot too for pure DPS. Vorpal's debuffs aren't that great, so it's only valuable for you if you have a high enough crit chance for it to make a difference. If you don't - it's a massive waste of a slot.

    Id imagine anything related to RP will increase with 2xRP weekend soon. Even max enchants; cause all the pieces to create will be inflated.

    That's what I did :) no point in trashing it, it took me WAAAAY too long to make the bloody thing.

    Because if everyone goes for Feytouched, only 1 gets the effect and others get nothing. Thats why I changed from feytouched back to vorpal when everyone started to have Fey.

    Thanks for all the responses. This definitely makes sense. Just the classic case of auction house flipping. Hoping to get lucky that the price sticks, so I can finally be rid of my T.Vorp =P

    Vorpal above perfect has also one of best debuff/personal utility ratio in PvE.

    2% really? Erm..I'd need 200% to make any difference, and I've been spamming every PvE powers known to man. >.<

    i have tested t vorpal with about 60% crit rate, it only boosts my dps by about 1%
