You must be in a guild with a level 4 Market before you can get any of these new things. Then you need to donate a lot to get Marks, the currency to buy them. That's not all. You still need yet more RP to feed to your new toys.
It is even worse when you turn to the new armors. On top of the 1800 seals, now you also need Marks to buy them, and did I say you need to have a level 4 Market first? Don't forget you need a lot more Black Ice again to infuse the new toys.
Good luck, but before it is off to work your tails off you go to get these new things that only last for one module, when you say "hi, ho..." probably you can only hear your own echoes since there probably won't be anybody left outsides of a couple of maxed out guilds.
Sorry, my crystal ball shows nothing after Mod 8... unless Mr. Chi does something a week from now...

Some of my characters are using level 70 blue items, and the highest artifact I have is purple, (and that's from pooling my resources across multiple characters, during a double refinement weekend). I liked it when you got good gear by running dungeons, and while I recognize and applaud that you can get the ilvl 130 and 132 armor from doing so, there are no weapons to be earned this way. Why can't I earn better weapons from actually playing? Why can't we have weapons of equivalent ilvl added to the respective seal vendors? And you might as well restore the campaign weapons, in updated incarnations, while you're at it.
I am happy to pay for cosmetic and convenience items, but this is shaping up to be another convoluted grindfest. It's bad enough that we have separate refining items for artifacts, artifact gear, enchantments, and so forth - how about cutting us a break and just letting us get good items straight-up?
FWIW, we're still waiting on an official word regarding the "Account-wide" companion promo you guys ran a few weeks back...

That Tiamat set will be must have items for clerics
5% increase to healing is nothing. I won't be leveling new artifact gear for 5% more heals. Right now a Faithful cleric is wasting enough over heals, you won't even notice 5%. and Charisma is not a popular stat for clerics (even if it is a secondary stat).
Its not just that bonus, the stats those items provide are all useful, one of them also provide extra AP gain. If you are overhealing then you can try the righteous path and if people are looking for a healbot then all the extra healing bonuses are welcome in the rigtheous path. Even if you don't need that bonus, its still better than Lathandar bonus, since clerics should have no problem with gold saving money on injury kits is not the greatest bonus.

I think lostmauth will still be BIS for righteous.
Its not that artifact gear is per se bad, its that its just terribly gated, like everything else in game is. There just is to much time grinding junk like this and not actually playing the game.
This is the game, no content, only grind. I still do believe-, if they really want to save the game,- they need to bring back Mod 5 or get a real good bunch of fresh and experienced IT people on board. From a time and technical perspective the most easiest and best thing to do is a simple rollback. Mod 5 was thousand times better with all it's bugs, than things they have put out ever since or better said they have taken away. If future Mods keep this trend by Mod 9 we will only have a login screen and just PE to stand in.
In my surroundings the news of Mod 7's repeated nullifying of old gear din't make a huge positive impact.
Rollback to Mod 5 - never going to happen.
Rollbacks of a few days to undo widespread exploitation or problems are just about do-able, although they cause a certain amount of player pain.
Rollbacks further than that? Frankly, I doubt the game would survive...
As pointed out previously, how long can it survive with the goal posts being moved every six months or so? Only the top tier wallet warriors can stomach that. Are there enough of those to keep the game afloat?
That Tiamat set will be must have items for clerics, but how does one obtain these ? If they come from Tiamat how on earth is one supposed to ever get them ??? I have finished my Tiamat boons, but I have tried some mod 6 Tiamats for fun and they were all fails, and even if you win at Tiamat the drop rate of these in the chest will no doubt be a tiny fraction. To get them one has to basically have to have the luck of what is equivalent of winning 2 lottery jackpots on the same day.
Judging by the downward spiral on the price of the Tiamat artifact, *someone* is winning against her, fairly often.
Indeed. The BIS whales gearing up for Strongholds. However, this chart tells a different tale. http://steamcharts.com/app/109600. Steady hemorrhaging. That's what stale content and constant resetting of the bar does. Doesn't really matter if "somebody" is winning if it's a small pool of over-geared people over and over

In the previous mods, I always refined my artifact gear to purple. In mod 6 I am thinking why bother.

You know what is the most astonishing thing right now in NOL, the xbox version is booming. Why?
1. The players are still at level 60 so all the HAMSTER of Mod 6 is away.
2. Zen Exchange is up and running very good since it's fresh on the console. Hence few people actually spending money on items, infact zen items are very less compared to current PC version.
3. Almost everymonth there is a double refinement, double XP, double AD events going on.
4. Professions event is still there.
5. Old Dungeons are still there
6. Currently except OP all classes, and except Moon Elf all races are still there. (The Feywild Night pack is absent hence Moon elf is absent).
7. Lord Neverember quests are still present.
8. Only Well of Dragons and Icewind Dale campaigns are present.
So yes AD market is booming, Sharandar and Dread Ring campaign zones still to be introduced, which I believe would be better designed when they get released. Old Dungeons, old quests and their rewards are present which means Players would be kept interested for a long time. Double XP, Refinements, AD events would always keep the players coffers filled with more Rough ADs then refined ADs. And since Zen market is still not busted as it has in PC, people will stay away from purchasing through real world money, mostly because they have to comply with stringent Xbox rules and regulations to keep the title present there as Free-to-play, (Yeah one friend of mine told me, the titles on Xbox get audited for their playstyle, which means if they mess up the zen economy, they will loose their F2P title there).
Hence they will keep on releasing HAMSTER mods to satify the greed of their wallet warriors. While we will sit back and watch youtube videos of our Xbox counterparts posting videos of opening 500 lockboxes using keys earned from Free Zen.
