Can we have some more info on how the leaderboard works?

I dropped 25 pages after 10 matches with 5 wins and 5 losses, from page 25 to 50. About 50 kills and 50 deaths. Half of the time on top of the charts the other half on the bottom. There was one match that I actually won, had more kills than deaths, not many points cause I was defending a node, result, I dropped a couple pages on the leaderboard.

Leader-bored is a joke, always has been. Top spots go to bug exploiters and premade pug-stompers. Or "elite PvP guilds" for short.

if you look at kill - death ratio. there are manys with a lot more kills than deaths on the pages 200+ so whats the point?

I have noticed if you win from a game with players from top leaderboard rankings, your rank usually goes up. If you win a game vs undergeared (eg you are 4k+ ilvl, and the enmy team is entirely 2k ilvl players) then even if you win the game, your rank could still drop down, if you lose the game, your rank drop down even further.

People complain about how premades forms their BiS team to farm the undergeareds, the fact is yes, they could win the game and often easily, but the premade players in that game could lose in rank even if they win the game if the enemy team's ilvl is noticible lower than the premade team...

not true, because as premade they win almost everything and win the most contribute to ranking....
